mouth ulcers dont usually last more than a week, if they clear up and then it swells up again the next morning maybe you're bitting your lip in your sleep or you have some sort of infection?
if its really been there for a month... i'd check with a doctor. |

QUOTE(eBola @ Sep 15 2006, 02:37 AM) genius. Miss, since when malaysian education started learning body heat, do you learn it in your biology subject during your SPM time? someone actually thinks the concept of heatiness actually refers to actual body temperature being high. absolute genius. the malaysian educational system is churning out more and more idiots every year, what a success. I aint a doctor, i just gave him a piece of advise based on my experince mind you. Its is always easy to give a sarcastic remarks here. But no one appreciate it at all and it will nvr make you a gr8 person. I am very disappointed. I can also say give sarcastic remarks on the human skills you developed, but i aint going to do that. Next time, if you really really think someone had made mistake, tell them in a constructive manner. Dont criticize in hurting manner. Btw, if i got myself into a wrong opinion, i am very sorry. Finally, if you ever want to reply this, reply with the "real concept of heatiness" and "body temperature", EXPLAIN it! Others, it will be also worth to take a look on this article. http://nic.sav.sk/logos/books/scientific/node45.html p/s: If you still not happy, private message me. 1 month ulser still refuse to go away? This sounds serious. Did you apply bonjela continuously or you stop when your ulser temporary goes away? Maybe you should go easy on your ulser there. Ask doctor for some advice if there's any infection.
now eBola, who gives you the right to call him 'stupid'? You created him izit? Just because he stated some points which you disagree with doesn't give you any right at all for you to call them stupid. Anyone disagree with you, correct him/her by stating the facts you believe in. Rather than condemning the education system etc. That's lame you know that? If you're lazy to make people smart then stop calling people stupid okay? |

QUOTE(eBola @ Sep 15 2006, 11:18 AM) why should i bother? not like your entire post contained anything of real use. besides, its up to you to correct your mistakes. all im doing is pointing out that you're stupid. its not my job to make you smart. Then why at 1st place u come and post in this thread? U contribute NOTHING and yet u called ppl STUPID?? if you still dont like it, this is the kopitiam. either take the heat, learn to argue your points properly instead of bullshitting with some other lame excuse like sarcasm or criticism, or much easier - stfu and go to some other forum where they might learn to love your generalising ass. |

It is best to consult a doctor than pursuing your own remedy, particularly when the problem reoccurs or is consistent.
In medicine, as in every other things else, there are some traditional beliefs that are unique to each respective cultures. For the chinese, in their traditional belief of one's wellbeing, there is a condition called "heatiness" (where ryansys refered as body heat). This occurs when one consumes too much fried foods and heaty stuffs. One common result of heatiness is blisters/ulcers in the mouth/lips. Taking lots of water wud help. I would usually gulp down two glasses of chinese herbs, that works very well for me whenever i feel "heaty". In everyday communications, different reference terms and semantic errors often occur. Most important is to clarify and read the intention of the communique; was it trying to help or was it an attempt at humour or was it just a cruel intention to hurt. Particularly in forums. |
