hi all, im currently considering between almera vlt & city V spec.

anyone of the owners here considered city before getting your almera?
may i know why?

Thanks!

Test drive both Almera VLT & City V spec & in the end bought Almera..
Opinion in making Almera decision such as:-
- Sleek/nice exterior & interior design
- Good driving comfort esp. front bucket seat feature
- Good cabin noise insulation
- Ease of acceleration at low RPM
- Good service by Nissan Kepong sales advisor too (Ms Carmen)

i dont think you will get any reply soon, very few N18 owners. If you dont mind my opinion on it. For a N17 owner perspective, appreciate what the car can do. most important is the engine, chassis, performance, fuel consumption, safety and overall drive. The tech stuff like camera, auto window, reverse camera, android stuff... is a bonus that you can live with or without. Out of habit you will learn to find ways to ignore or find alternatives for the lack of functions. My phone Google assistant cant even understand/spell most street names and ppl names... so i still have to type for navigation and calls.

Most N18 owners club say:
1. Buy a 2nd hand IP5, plug in the apple cable. USE Apple carplay.
2. Just Bluetooth your songs if that is what your main use.
3. Anything else, just buy a phone holder and use your Android phone for navigation, Youtube etc.
4. Ignore the warranty. Change the headunit to Adroid player. you probably may lose the controls on the steering column, unless the installer have a compatible plug and play connector.

Good luck. Drive a good car with no Android auto VS Drive a bad car with Android Auto. Think carefully, you can change anytime the headunit but you cant change the car.

Agree with Jessieccy's points..Arguably, there may not be such thing as perfect car. My view is that it depends on each individual to consider pros and cons of any car before deciding which one to buy. I.e. which features you want/need the most vs the ones you think may not be a deal breaker if the features/specification are not available.

Hi all, would like to seek your opinion on the new Nissan Almera 1.0 turbo. Any one of you faced any issue on the car so far? How is the maintenance like?
*
Owned Almera Turbo for 3 weeks already. Probably too early to see issue on the car; if any. So far car driving experience is good. The car service interval is at every 7,000km though; something that may or may not be deal breaker for some people who is considering this car.

Hi there, appreciate if anyone has any suggestion on how to repair the scratched tyre rim. Tyre or car accessory shop could do it?

Test drove the Almera today and honestly I'm pretty sold, though the one thing that held me back was the lack of Android Auto. However, the salesperson informed me that new Almeras rolling out from this month would be coming with Android Auto as well - can anyone verify this?

Yes, officially new model now comes with Android Auto. No official announcement yet on existing car owner, whether can be updated with Android Auto.
