Hi. Just bought a used Almera 2013.
When checking, I found no gear box oil dipstick. Only a secure cap with tiny rod about one inch. How are we to check the gearbox oil level or condition?

Might to share how much you bought?

41k. but cash. Fed up of car dealers. Deal direct with buyer. Great car but I am concern abt Almera cannot check auto tranny oil. No dipstick. Service manual no info. How did you guys check the tranny oil or do you guys check at all? Just leave it to sc?

Go workshop check

Any workshop to recommend in puchong, out of warranty ??

Also it was a pain to check for tranny problem when I was test driving used car without a dipstick for transmission fluid. Owner should have option to check for weekly maintenance like engine oil. Manatau got leakages.

It is a good buy as it is a good car overall to my satisfaction, bro. Welcome on board.

It's a good car. Very satisfied at 60k mileage still good shape. Only thing I dislike is not self maintenance friendly. I am still confused on how to change the spark plugs. Maybe need watch a workshop sifu. Haha.
