Downsizing Almera tyre only help a lil bit, better/smoother pickup during town drive. On highway, still sort of struggle. One word, forget about Almera if want to have instant pickup, even Myvi/Vios can do better.

Pls dont downsize the wheel if you love ur life. The car is already bad with 185/65/15. Tall & thin. Bad in high speed & cornering. Get a wider & lower tyre (at least 6.5jj) to increase stability. Fuel economy is around the same. Im having better FC with my 205/45/17. Just get a light weight rim.

Hi. Thanks for your feedback. I also use D only all the way & I've also used 2 before on steep slopes. What I meant was, it auto downshift to 1St gear whereas myvi 1.3 auto don't auto downshift to 1st gear when going up genting.
*
How u know Myvi didnt downshift to G1? Anyway i recommend to mix D on normal road + O/D on slope. RPM will maintain around 3k & comfortable speed will be around 40-60 km/h.
Due to the nature of this car, do not expect spirited drive. Instead learn the timing on enter & exit for cornering & slope. It took me years to drive this car like a "normal" car... rclxub.gif

Which engine oil you using & how much it cost?
*
U can refer at engine oil section.
Fyi the motul i used cost rm60+ per quartz during promo.

For wheel 185/60/15 vs ori 185/65/15
Yes its lower but its still 185 width thus lesser grip. Ori rim should be 5.5jj. Put it this way. Its small...if u insist on 15inch..i would say 195-60-15 is acceptable..get better brand tyre thou
