now at sg.rasah sc. got free car wash also.
but I'm a bit afraid to let them wash.
I'll try once.

and..what a shocker. I didn't know the service is free till 60k mil.
I was like...

me: "er..when do I pay you? after service?"
sc: " its free"
me: "u mean service charge free? oil no need to pay?"
sc: "sir, ur salesman never tell u all maintenance n service is free for 3 years or 60k whichever comes first?"
me (thinking to myself): " bestnyeeeeeeeeer"

I love nichan!! hahaha

rclxms.gif Yup, i went to Bayan Lepas's SC last month. The service was fantastic!

Depends on luck one la bro. I went to PJ's SC on last Tuesday, i was served by a very moody and not so helpful service adviser. Raised 3 issues to him but non of them were fixed (wiper nozzles were faulty, driver seat was loose and engine tuning was off). Wait for his call for next appointment but until today i never get a single call... hmm.gif

yup, you are right. I got it through the staff program.
I didn't know the benefits either.

Btw, anyone know if I can buy some accessories for the door handle area.
I notice those kinda door handle design get alot of scratches.
Is there like some sticker or like a "screen protector" to prevent those scratches.
Some lady's finger nail panjang and sharp like wolverine claw.  rclxub.gif

Another thing. Is there like a protection film or anything for the almera door step ?

Sorry ya, very new to this automotive world ...  notworthy.gif

Got this for my door step. This is not ori btw and not fitting well..not recomemded. Avoid this model at all cost...

Hi guys, im planning to buy E spec almera with 5k rebat, free bodykit either impul/nismo and free 15 alloy rim..do you all will recommend me to buy this car or u can recommend me other car with almost same price?
*
I am driving a VL model. Avarage fuel consumption on trunk road with less traffic is aroumd 10km/l.. not sure whether E spec has this kind of fuel consumption or not. Are u confortable with this kind of fuel consumption?

Hey douglas and nismo87, thanks for the advise.
Manage to get some protective films for the door handle and the door step.

I hope this will minimize the damages.
My poor baby 'rara' (almera).  cry.gif

Where you buy? How much? Does it fits exactly using the existing hole for the clips? I am looking for this.

I believe this is to shield the heat and not sound proof. To add sound proof, you will need to add in some sound proofing (like bitumen strip / dynamat) directly to the metal before adding this.

It cost me rm 150.. this insulators fits pretty well.. but this seller is very firm on the price..here is the link

Recently my Almera met an accident... sigh money fly away.

Luckily I did all the repairs myself thus manage to save a bit of money on labour. Parts direct from Nissan Thailand.

Thats cause of their famous dsg among thr 1.2, 1.4, 1.8 tsi engines.

Cars involved were polo tsi, golf tsi, polo gti, jetta and passat.

All got funky gearing. Vw knows this prob but doesnt recall back. Instead let u all come back 1 by to claim new gearbox.

I myself sudah chsnge the polo's cluth at 28k mileage. Can u imagine? 28k need to chabge clutch.

Fc 4.2l/100km
Full tank can go 648km

100% highway, rpm 2k @ 80km/h

Waaaa...i calculated my fuel consumption on my own. 20.5 liters of fuel can go as far as 180km only. To achieve this, you need to drive very careful. 100% city drive...

This is even worst than mine. My car is 10.5km/litre. So 20.5 litres will give me 215.25kms.
