modern synthetic engine oil evaporation is very unlikely even in turbo applications.
most likely it is leaking (through piston ring/seals, then burnt off through the exhaust) due to bad seals (or in turbo case some could be evaporated while lubing the hot turbine) and/or higher clearance especially under full load/high power applications. remember, flash points for modern full synthetics is >200 Celsius you have bigger issues to worry about if your engine is constantly subjected to that sort of temperatures. |
