No cam rite now. The small one is tame coz i take care of him since he was small. He will just keep quiet when i handle him. The big one in the other hand is not tame at all, he will open his mouth whenever i try to take him out. sweat.gif

BillyJoe,

I think every Alligator Snapping turtle has their own individual character. Some may be tame while some very aggressive. Always be cautious while handling them and the best is to leave them alone. Dont disturb them unnecessarily. Afterall they are wild animals, dont take the chance. My 2c.

Anyway, i havent spotted any hatchling Alligator Snappers since a while. You might have to wait a little longer BillyJoe. They are interesting turtle and with a price tag of RM200 it is a lot of turtle for the money. Good luck in your hunt.

2 pictures of mine...

Regards

cherry head red foot hard to come by.... cant resist when my gf sees it...

there are a few more lovely sulcatas, anyone interested in group buy ? let me know...

i can help .....

Hi EuJax,

Very nice turtle you have there....love the tank setup too! I don't actually plan to handle the ally much, but thanks for the advice biggrin.gif I respect the wild animal instincts in all pets and I love observing animals, I can't even get tired of watching my Bettas! My gf and mum thinks I am nuts....but animals are just so interesting, and at times unpredictable which makes it a whole new experience everytime!

As for getting an ally for now, I have resigned to my fate and I shall wait patiently until they arrive, be it next year...or the next next year *sigh* Until then, I really appreciate all the help from everyone and I do hope to be a proud owner of an ally snapper soon.

Do let me know if anyone sees an ally snapper hatchling yea? laugh.gif

Till the next time.....

Cheers!

Nice tortoise u have there. I think its better if u separate the star tortoise from the redfoot and the sulcata because star tortoise are prone to fall sick easier compared to their other Geochelone family members.

Yeah, i think they are in the process of mating. Btw how big is your RES ? If you dont want them to mate then separate them. That's all.

Its easier if you know the ft measurement. How big is your turtle/tortoise ?
