I bought this Motorola V3i from him which is RM600. Since I'm from other state,so he will be posting it to me. I banked in all the money to him before Merdeka. And he said will post it to me on 28th August. But i didn receive the v3i and he never reply my PM,then till 1st September ,he send me a PM " My mom brought the phone along to Taiwan,have to wait till 8th September only can post to me.... So i waited... But he never post it to me .... So i PM him again,he never reply me,until 11th September,he SWEAR i will receive the v3i at Wednesday (13th),and today is Thursday(14th),i haven receive yet... He gave me his house number,and say he is only home before 11.30am or after 10.30pm.. I tried the phone,his mother pick up the phone...so i think its not a fake number.. But he is not doing what we had agreed when we make the deal,i banked in all the money to him before Merdeka,and he said post to me...till now,i have waited for 2 weeks,still haven receive it yet. IM PISSED !!!!

Yes, it's okay to reveal his nick. It's better because then the person accused can come forward and give his side of the story. The name you may hold back for the moment. Maybe you can explain the entire situation to his mom. Then ask his mom things like if he really had the phone in the first place and if yes, is he still using the phone?

Also, if you are really fed up of waiting and believe he is running away with your cash, you can try to set up a meeting with the mom, then settle this case once and for all. Better get back your money while u still can directly from his parents. Usually, parents will give the money if you can prove it to them.

That's why he asked you to take a bus if it's far away. Well, spend a bit to travel at least to get back your money rather than wait forever and you might not get back your money/phone in the end. He already delayed for so long giving stupid reasons, so what are the chances that he will not delay again?

Since he 'said' his mom took the phone to use in Taiwan for some time, then just call up his house and speak to his mom about this.

Ask his mom whether this is really true or not. Also, ask his mom where is the location of the phone now. Is she still keeping it? Or is the son keeping it?

These small details will help in your investigation.

Okay everything settled already!

His explanation : THe V3i suddenly got the auto shut down problem,so he took it to the shop and fix,that's why never post to me(Atlest send me a PM so i will know!!).Since i scare that the auto shut down problem will visit me again in the future,so i told him to refund me,and i take the money to get a new one,but he used the rm600 i paid him to get a new phone now,so he is using the new phone now,and dont have money to refund me the rm600.. He PROMISED ME(i SCREENSHOT ALREADY IN MSN!!! IF HE BROKE THIS PROMISE IM GOING TO SUE HIM!!!) that he will somehow get the rm600 banked in to me by the coming Monday! He fely pity for me because he caused so much of troubles to me ..and apologized to me.

So now,im waiting for the refund....

Hell,i spend 2 weeks + waiting,and every morning wake up with the spirit of a new handphone,now has gone. If i knew this was happening,i should have just get a new 1 from the shop...

So now,waiting the refund.When received,then it will be FULLY SETTLED!!

He got no intention of posting it.. Either he can ask the fella to leave it there for next day's collection or try other courier service.. GDex, Fedex, nationwide courier, TNT, ups, etc.. too many .. I think they are much cheaper than pos laju now becoz pos laju calculate the size also..

I don't get it. If the v3i does have auto shutdown problem, why he doesn't wanna tell you earlier? He chose to drag and drag, and him and his mum don't want you to know his HP number. Besides as you already said, he used your RM600 to get a new phone. A new phone without a number huh?

And i doubt he will refund to you on Monday. He delayed 2 weeks on his v3i postage, and i bet he gonna drag once again. Pray hard and expect the worse lo... if i were him, i'll wait for my v3i to be repaired, then trade it off to any handphone shops. Collect the money then only pay you back.

I think this is happening quite often. It's a much better way than borrowing from loan sharks.

Some pos office open until 10:00pm. 2 time i post my item at 9:50pm(work mah), the counter man ask me fill-up form faster because they 1 calculate money. So, if still operation hours they still have to accept your post.

It sound like bullshit to me. Regardless of what time the PosLaju van comes and collect all the thing from the Post Office, they will still accept the item and store it overnight if they have to. I have sent items just before the Post Office close and they still accept the item.
