 Curious Play is the English name, but it is probably better known by its Japanese name: Fushigi Yuugi. Fushigi Yuugi is about two girls who open a forbidden scroll and travel to a fantastical world. In this world, there are mythical beasts that represent north, east, south, and west. Each beast has a priestess that represents it. Miaka is the priestess that represents Suzaku. There are seven fighters known as the Seven Stars that are meant to protect the priestess of each direction. To begin the story, Miaka must find the Seven Stars meant to protect her. If she can find them and perform the correct ceremony, she will be granted her wish to return home. Wish I got the time to watch it.. Everyday on weekday when Im free its only from 8am to 8.30 am and I only got to watch Tsubasa.... Hahaha... Anyway watch most of the anime in animax ady.. Such an otaku am I.. think more than 80% of the series showing now.. I had the complete set.. whether in vcd, dvd or download from the net. Hope they show old time fav like macross as now like dunno why.. wanted to watch it back but cant find places which sell original dvd anymore.

watched Yukikaze last night, and was laughing at the sub. It was terlalu ketara that it was from an english version. i mean, "Kawan kamu tidak dapat melakukannya" was certainly "Your friend didn't made it". "はい" was translated as "Kapten" instead of "Baik"......

Hey, their Honey n Clover got 2 extra episode, which i think it's the OVA.
1 is known as chapter L the other is chapter F. Did u guyz watch it?? The 1st part of chapter F is abt Fujiwara Design where Yamada haven't got there yet. It's funny when Miwako tried to make her colleague look stupid in weird clothing. Instead her colleague ends up being in the magazine as pro fashion designer every month. |

ok, so this thread is back alive again.
well girl from hell is definitely worth to watch. i skip the steamboy because it's not japanese dubbed even i try to press the language there on the remote but still the same. no anne suzuki voice so i just watched couple of minutes then turned it off already. so honey and clover is back this 1st november. from tuesday shift to wednesday, 7.00 pm. GOD(?) SAVE OUR KING! also back this week but it's a repeat from 1st episode. Definitely not bored to watch again. i miss the earliest episode when animax not even on astro yet. Yukikaze finished yesterday. New anime coming out like EMMA VICTORIAN ROMANCE , will be substitude Honey and Clover on tuesday next week at 7.00 pm. Somemore other anime like Fantastic Children from monday to friday at 4.00 pm. I won't bother to watch this two new animes just because not my cup of tea |

can't remember the time slots la.
nowadays i only watch Witch Hunter Robin. too bad no subs. that also not every episode seen.kamichu is nice but i don't follow. Hell Girl (地狱少女 la, but donno why Animax call it Girl From Hell) seems interesting but i got bored after i saw the 2nd episode halfway - same thing. bad situation, untie the knot. |

today is the final episode of witch robin. tomorrow another new anime:
I'M GONNA BE AN ANGEL Sometimes a kiss isn't just a kiss... When schoolboy Yuusuke stumbles upon the sweetly sleeping Noelle in the forest, he decides to give her a kiss - and immediately wishes that he hadn't. It turns out that the be-haloed Noelle hails from the demon world, and Yuusuke is now her husband! To make matters worse, Noelle and her unearthly family of witches, monsters, and vampires promptly move in to live with him, and on top of the mayhem, Yuusuke's school crush gives him the cold shoulder, even after he tells her that she is like an angel to him. Will things take a turn for the better when Noelle tries to cheer Yuusuke up by becoming a real angel for him instead? Or will things spiral drastically out of control? ---------------------------------------------------------------- well, you know what i think i will gonna like this anime. somesort of ramma 1/2 or law of ueki type. |

animes rock. but the astro staff should probably substitute the bm subtitles with english subtitles. or provide those without any subtitles with english subtitles. it would be better so that we can hear in japs. and not english. with english, it sounds wierd. and it's as if we're watching cartoon and not anime.

well, i agree. the original language is there is up to you whether you want to use it or not. the problem is the subtitles . hardly find any subtitles provided in astro. they only provide the subtitles for the opening theme songs only and in malay words. haha , thats pretty funny. anyway, i don't bother about it anyway. already used to watch anime in english dubbed.
so yesterday was final episode for lunar LUNAR LEGEND TSUKIHIME and Witch Hunter Robin. The ending for witch hunter robin wasn't that bad either sames goes to LUNAR LEGEND TSUKIHIME . i like both ending. Today gonna watch another new anime I'm Gonna Be An Angel Oh yah forgot to mention about Honey & Clover. Looks like i was given a second chance to watch this anime. Well it totally rocks. I think Midori no Hibi might not be so fun to watch on Animax. There's quite a number of nude scenes - which to me, is not really ecchi but you guys know lah... it's Malaysia right? Where we get a saman for holding hands in KLCC park.
As for the dubbed anime - I remember reading this in the Star before Animax started airing anime. The lady said the reason for dubbed anime because the majority of anime fans out there are not keen to read subtitles while watching anime. Only a small number of super fans wants subbed anime. What the heck? Last time, I watched dubbed anime because there's no choice. The moment I can get my hands on the subbed, there's no turning back. Why, I'm even willing to wait for the subbed Mai-Otome DVD than to buy the much cheaper dubbed one. Dubbed anime is just not the same. The english and chinese seiyuus are just not good enough to convey the character's personality and feeling. As for the malay dubbed, don't even mention it. Hearing the characters speaking in malay makes me wanna throw up. *faints* |

^_________^!! I watch The Law of Ueki, Chobits, Paradise Kiss, Chronicles of the Wings, and Midori no Hibi despite the fact that I owned all those 5 dvd titles, hehe.
Other than that.. I watch Yu Yu Hakusho, Ranma (Watched in before lol), Dragon Ball (watched it before, too x.x), CCS (Watched it before @.@) Honey & Clover, and yeah -__-x.. so on. Actually to make it simple I watch what I can watch, when I'm free and all. Eheh x) But I can't say all those animes above are good. Watch Curious Play last night, quite interesting.
Will watch few more eps b4 add in my watch list. End of this month, animax will show the series back to back but not sure whether is a complete series re-run, frm eps 1 - end. Can't wait to watch Witch Hunter Robin & Paradise Kiss again. |

talking about ranma 1/2, oh yeh i think i can officially drop it from my list. already missed few episodes. also when watch jubei chan, i feel very sleepy. i guess that anime was simply too boring and the lines always keep repeating.

ROD The Tv boring meh? well i find the story quite interesting and the dubbed not that bad either. I already watch few episodes towards the ending part. Now just rewatch the beginning few episodes that not yet shown when the animax begin at astro. I should say most of my list is the best anime at this moment except the Ghost in the Shell. I almost fall asleep each time i watch it. Same goes to Jubei Chan, the ninja girl thats why i drop it from the list. After few more episodes of Ghost in the Shell then only decide want to keep it or not.Can someone tell me that Ghost In the Shell not worth to watch? |

I watched GITS: SAC and it was okay, but the things I liked the most when it comes to that anime were:
- the childish behaviour of the Tachikoma. They are, well, ADORABLE! - gunfighting and melee combat. - Motoko Kusanagi smiling??? I did remember watching the first episode showing her smiling, but it is rare to see her smile. Mostly stern-looking. |

finally the hottest season over, i considered it as one week holidays coz i never catched up with any anime during that week. haha.
well, i just added black jack into my list , well why not give it a try as it was one of the best anime back in 2004. coming soon is SOLTYREI which will replace chobits on 10th jan 2007. so sad, counting remaining days of chobits. the please teacher time slot has been changed. i mean the repeat show. usually 12.30 am, now has change to 1.30 am after black jack. |

samurai 7 gonna replace alice academy on 30th january. not this anime again, i guess will skip samurai 7. and paradise kiss will replace honey and clover this coming february. thats great i can watch other program since i already watched paradise kiss before.

the law of ueki.... purposelly went to kota raya bought the whole box set. RM39. 51 episodes. finished it in 4 days. my favourite movie after saiyuki trilogy. law of ueki... a must watch animation.

Once again, I almost die from heart attack when there is some time when I switched on the TV I suddenly heard Shana speaks malay.At first I thought I accidentally switched to tv3 or ntv7 but then I notice the animax logo in the up right which concludes that I'm in the right channel.Those malay dub company really-really 'pakai org dalam' to get the dubbing contract from Astro.At first they got tHE contract to raep all the anime in channel Ceria.And now in Animax?WTF???

i rather have no sub than changing it to ENGLISH,juz hear they say everything in jap that is...
