i never commented on his preference just sayin it's more worth painting a MG since the effort is not much different painting HG & MG just more parts, HG is so small unless you build few at the same time the time to clean & change paint to me not worth the time, maybe i'm slow but it'd probably take me more time to clean than to paint.

unless there's some tips in quick cleaning the airbrush i usually have to flush the brush few times with thinner, evertime have to disassemble the springs, nozzle, I'm using those Mr.Gunzo bottom loaded, those top loaded requires more skill to control pressure & paint output with 1 finger.

then again if you use spray cans, different story, everything becomes easy & convenient. but cans are more expensive and harder to control.

I build Gundam including paint but has stopped building & buying due to:

1.Living in highrise, only place to spray is balcony or laundry room both are exposed to environment & dust.
2.Don't have water hose access in painting area to clean airbrush & equipment.
3.Frequent rain causing humid air
4.Difficult to find enough time to complete sections, it's not like you can start/stop/start/stop anytime you want, unless you have a permanent work space you can just leave everything there, also mixed paint tend to dry up so it might be difficult to get the same color next session.
