QUOTE(Godevil @ Jan 9 2015, 09:13 AM) just saw the RG Wing Zero Custom review on Dalong.net Real world don't have gundams and giant robot as weapons inefficient.quite disappointed as not significant different from MG.. anyone else got the feeling that RG design have become lazy... the RG line is to closer resemble the design in real world, that's what they say... |

QUOTE(cacin @ Jan 13 2015, 08:35 AM) Ok. So it makes sense for people like me that do not know the full history since the 'normal' gundam is a RX-78-2. Hence they change the arm guard to become a shield? Check this:Thanks guys When look at previous meijin's machine, this looks like have less armaments. The Amazing Zaku and Kampfer have lots of weapons http://www.gwinghobby.com/gundam/hgbc-kure...ct-1198610.html Not amazing in number but still amazing. QUOTE(TheAdmiral @ Jan 13 2015, 09:56 PM) ... Thanks. I bought both a long time ago only just now when i apply a topcoat that the question popped in my mind.If ur paint base is acrylic, stick with acrylic coat. If ur paint base is lacquer u can use whichever u wan. If u didnt paint at all u can use whichever u wan. what would happen if my paint base is acrylic and i applied a laquer coat? Will it ruin the paint? This post has been edited by xein: Jan 13 2015, 10:19 PM |

QUOTE(madmoz @ Jan 14 2015, 12:48 PM) Frame arms... i can't say whether it is good or not.it depends on the design. But if it is about the plastic parts design, i'd say it is alright. my only cringe is its pre assembled architect frame. However frame arms is not a good indicator for the new frame arms girls. I have yet to assemble kotobukiya's character kits; kos-mos, archer girl, imperial knight. I did assemble their kits from hoi-hoisan line. They were ok, not great, not bad. Still this is a new design. Let's just hope it'll be better. |

QUOTE(Tiger I @ Jan 14 2015, 11:34 PM) I could sell you my old ones for cheap lol Not just you. Kotobukiya kits have small detail. You are welcome to have fun with it In any case, I am not trying to undermine Koto, that was never the intention. Just my personal experience. Maybe others could chip in theirs too with Koto's kit? If most are talking the same, then it's not just me with unlucky teared polycap and loose everything But some of their mold/ plastic runner designs are not at bandai level. The problem with plastic material composition also makes their kits prone to break/ loose after some time. My advice for those buying frame arms, get the modelers edition frame architect and build your own. Test out the movement range and file the places that seemed to force the parts to break. Use cement to lock parts that form the joints. My demon bane that i wanted to sell off had a torn hip ball joint. If i had the skills, i'd do a surgery on it. |
