I agree. I don't like to fix mine up too fast because errors will happen. I typically remove part from sprue, clean up the nubs, panel line, then only assemble (in that order). Then once I complete a small assembly (eg. head), I start applying the stickers. Once that's done, I move on to the next small assembly. I think this way adds some variety to the monotony of doing the same things over and over again, and I get to accomplish small goals leading to the larger goal of putting all the small assemblies together.

I've recently decided to invest in a light tent. Great tool to show off your gunpla. More images in the spoiler.

I feel like I'm the slowest in assembling gunplas. ;_;

Slow and detailed better than fast and no detail. The more detail you put in, the more enjoyment you'll get out of looking at your work in the end. Gunpla assembly is not a race to see who is fastest smile.gif

My Noob HG Exia ... Just assembled, not dare (dont know how) to do paneling yet ...

Use a fine tip gundam marker (grey looks best on white/yellow, and black on blue, grey). Panel lining is very forgiving on unpainted parts. Just rub away with pencil eraser or your fingers if you mess up.

whats up with vent face spacing? and the cheek vent is not separate part, you need to settle with panel line unlike previous RGs

Yeah, was wondering why such a small shield.
But, maybe, the he's that good that he can do pin point shielding biggrin.gif

Then it needs a new design, and not look like a scaled down, upside down RX-78-2 shield.

Looks good, no topcoat? is that using Marker with Gold Parts?

No topcoat. Top coat screws up all the foil stickers. Gold gundam marker for gold parts smile.gif
