Hi, I got my Gear S since Mon.
The only complain is reply from gear is limited to certain apps only. Wish it has torchlight, so that you don't need to pull out phone to shine something that drop in your car etc. Where can I get screen protector for it? |

QUOTE(whatever06 @ Nov 14 2014, 09:43 AM) Hi, I got my Gear S since Mon. I think they have it in Singapore. Otherwise you can cut one yourself from those notebook vinyl films. The only complain is reply from gear is limited to certain apps only. Wish it has torchlight, so that you don't need to pull out phone to shine something that drop in your car etc. Where can I get screen protector for it? That's going to be my weekend project. |

If you are on Maxis, or maybe Umobile, you could get a multisim plan and really leave your phone at home. However the expectation of the Gear S that it is like a featurephone Nokia from about 5 years ago. Just that it's really cool to have one on your wrist. |

A Japanese user managed to root his Gear S.
Although I'm happy from a technical perspective, I don't know how it will be useful. Any ideas? |

QUOTE(cooldreamer @ Nov 14 2014, 09:59 PM) I could suggest that you port out to Maxis and take the Surfmore 50 with a multisim.2Gb data, calls and sms pay-as-you-go, but my usage of calls and sms is incredibly low so this suits me perfectly. |
