I think what threadstarter is asking is if the virus company will stop giving updates, even though want to pay yearly.

Looking at how antivirus versions are popping up, not sure how long the companies are supporting them.

Same like Microsoft... they also stop supporting old versions after a while. Force people to upgrade software, for a fee of course.
