Saw the topic of SC2 vs D2. IMO SC2 has a flaw that needs to be fixed in order to grow further. UI wise its probably one of the better peers. However, I find it a very lonesome game if you know what I mean. The flaw I mentioned about is the significant proportion of focus towards competitiveness.

I don't feel as much fun in a SC2 match compared to other games. (Then again maybe i'm just pawning too much in those lol)

Team games tend to get more popularity as its teams after all. Cultural level wise, we're more suited for these type of genres most presumably.

maybe i'm just getting old, I should just go read and write with my walking stick. Board games are very fun nowadays muahaahhahahaa

JUST GOT INTO THE BETA TODAY

So far, a lot of games of sorts in ranging complexity. There's an FB group of board gamers that I've been joining.

So far, also been playing Role playing sessions of Dark Heresy (Warhammer 40k) you can google it up.

Very fun so far.

I sad, still no beta lol.

i kinda suck in archon X_X: it's 2 people against another 2.

There doesn't seem to be a 2 player vs ai, but i guess thats what allied commander is for (is disabled for the beta).
2 vs 1 archon worked, however had to do that via custom game. not sure default archon multiplayer u can do that for match making.
one thing i notice in lotv is how you run out of resource real fast. they want to make you expand base outward compared to the previous sc games 

The role play game type we play Imperium side. I don't think we're talking the same topic as theres no armageddon mode on Dark Heresy. You probably mean the original tabletop game right?

My LotV experience so far:

- won my first 4 or 5 games, I think the people I played against also just got their Beta keys so they didn't play so well.
- lost every game since. And since my MMR is overstated, I've been playing against Diamonds or above.  I've read that LotV unranked matchmaking still has a hidden MMR, and the system needs you to play a large amount (more than 50) of games before it is able to normalize.
- new units are amazing (Terran Liberators just melt Zerg so hard).
- I'm not particularly sold on the new economy introduced in LotV (but having 12 workers at the start is kinda nice).  I've played the DH9 mod and, IMHO, that would be much better.
- wait time in between games is more than 10 minutes, especially during the afternoons
- lag is pretty manageable, I experience 100 to 200ms ping while playing, and this while I'm here in the Philippines.  If I were back in Malaysia and on fiber internet, I bet it would be lower.

i heard the 3 prologue missions will be free to play ?

Maybe there will finally be another LAN with the release of lotv.. Who knows.. ^^

No announcement on LotV CE yet, but if we're gonna go by what Blizz did back with HotS CE, Blizz announced HotS CE a week before HotS release and pre-orders were done with retail locations, not with Blizz directly.

What I do want Blizz to do now is release a WoL digital deluxe.  It pains me that my main account has WoL standard, HotS Digital Deluxe and LotV Digital Deluxe.

That will only be available once Blizz announces its release.  Like with other publishers, Blizz only ships out the physical boxes to retailers 1 or 2 days before its release, and gives strict instructions to them (retailers) to only sell them on the date of release.

The retailers can however take pre-orders prior to release.  This is the ideal scenario though.

There is a possibility that shops actually sell the boxes as soon they get a hand on them, and it's usually hush-hush.
