You can change during login or on opening the game right..

Global Play but mostly it only effect your ping or you will lag if you connect with player out site your regions.
but other player have say that if you play in america regions you could get a good ping if connected with SG sever..
cus too my knowledge SG player also connect in the American region..
(some one need to confirm this)
from my experience both region almost the same I don't see any lag between region.. but I not sure what my Ping was during beta...

btw, i'm curious about you guys saying there's lag, what time you all play and what server you all choose?
i played from 715am (the moment the server went live) till 8pm (holy sheet...what's wrong with me?) but i encounter no lag. i've been getting 40ms all the time (which i presume it to be a SG server) on America server. also, i'm using 4mbps stimyx.
I try the driver last night notice no difference
playing at america region, what I see is got lag spike not sure what the problem..
ping around 20-100... but lag I see around 300 ping..
