i bought sluban race team and maintenance station. ..perhaps one day i can share mine.

one thing i dont like about sluban is their unusual minifigures and low quality/faded stickers

No time to brick.. Only manage to brick Lepin Kylo Shuttle..
That also not fully completed as I wanted to moc the wing so that can tilt..

Still have plenty of Lepin boxes, Bela Scooby Mystery Machine, and Bela Ninja Turtles set yet to brick..

What is the rule of thumb in deciding if the price tag on these bootleg brick worth buying? Compare it to the price in taobao? A certain percentage to the price on the ori Lego product?

Mr. DIY only sell Sluban and Ausini right? You should try SY blocks, trust me SY has better quality compare to Sluban.

i see, few weeks ago i did saw aviation series from Gudi (which also a good quality brand) at Dengkil RnR (got 1 shop selling KO lego there), but I think the price is abit high compare to others. But that is the only shop that I saw got Gudi aviation series.

Is this worth the price tag then?

Just came back from brick hunting @ GM Klang..

Bought Avengers Tower, Ironman vs Ultron & Star Wars Microfighters (all from SY) @ Atashinchi.. 

Then bought Avengers Quinjet City Chase (latest quinjet) also from SY @ a shop parallel to Atashinchi.. 

Building the Quinjet at the moment..really impressed..hopefully no lost bricks in any of the item..

Just got to know last nite that can assemble a bigger Avengers Tower if u buy few sets of it..can go up to 7-9 storey high instead of the 3 original floors..definitely gonna get another 1 on my next trip.. 

Got few info from Atashinchi:
1)Lepin MF if very difficult to get..Lepin can't really tell when exactly can get it..but X-Wing & Tie Fighter are coming in the next 2 weeks.. 
2)Lele is coming up with the MF & X-Wing and will be sold a lil bit cheaper than the Lepin's..will get more info on the next few weeks..
3)They now do have the Kylo Ren Command Shuttle in stock..quite a few stock too..but that was yesterday (26th March)..who still haven't got it..must get it..really worth it..then try to look up a few tutorials on how to get the wings done correctly according to the movie..I did mine without extra pieces..
