hi guys,

can anyone comment on BELA quality? im interested in its wide range of set released,
i bought SY star wars set and was kind of surprise with it, i was expecting it to suck but it turned out pretty good ! sadly SY dont release alot of set..

if BELA quality is on par with SY, i might start getting them (chima, ninjago etc..)
*
BELA is so-so only. but i like how they are pushing for big sets. >500 pcs/ especially those im not so keen off like ninjago or chima.
i like decool (only tumbler) and SY. but i think SY is the best for now. havent tried others. tried sluban last time. mcm tahi..

still waiting for quinjet version 2 from sy. looks good!

But missing parts is still a concern for me. My quinjet got 2 parts missing, luckily, it just a common part which I replaced from extra from other bootleg sets. However this made searching for parts when building is a heart thumping moment, afraid its missing, especially unique parts.
*
2 parts? sweat.gif

i bought tumbler missing one part. black colour somemore, had to replaced it with white. dem, tak nampak tumbler abit. haha

Yeah missing or defective parts is a norm for medium to big sets
*
tumbler is the only set that had a missing piece. at least for now. bela and sy work fine for now.

My experience;

Bela:  1 set got one defective part, another set missing few parts

Ausini: few sets got both defective n missing parts

SY: ok for now

Kazi/gaobole: ok, loose/not fit parts is a norm

Enlighten: ok
*
hv u see ausini "millennium falcon"?

Kazi
http://www.amazon.com/Building-Century-Mil...0/dp/B00MW8FC38

Quality as expected of bootlegs,
Some blocks are not aligned properly / can see the injection point of the mold. But it fits and secures tightly

I got lazy to arrange the pieces becauce its 1.1k pieces which is a bargain for me for rm120.

The design is outstanding and detailed. Smooth finish no open ends
*
looks good. i assume kazi better than lele/bela?

ive tried military them before. it was sluban doh.gif

This is my first bootleg so I can't comfirm

But the fine details are rich
Sluban the most i see is kinda ok. More oriented towards teens i guess.

Also the insides

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Nov 4 2015, 08:11 PM)
lately have gotten into bootleg lego.. owned only Decool so far as the brand has been very satisfactory (no missing parts, very minimal fitting issues)
so far i have the Tumbler, the Ferrari and the Hulkbuster.. how does SY compare to Decool? any instances of missing pieces? I see SY actually do a lot of releases especially the latest Marvel ones.. how about Bela?

since the Ferrari I have also been hooked to lego Technic style releases.. have always dreamt of owning those since i was young, and really love how they have gimmicks of different kinds.. any other releases of those? some brands which don't have problems of fitting and missing pieces i can look into? feel like looking for the lego technic F1 car from Decool now
*
SY and decool for me is the best among bootleg. bela and lele is ok only. expect loose part at least one or two (or probably below 5 pieces). but i have no choice since bela and lele produce big sets!

QUOTE(hyzam1212 @ Nov 4 2015, 09:58 PM)
IMO i would say kazi is on par with SY n decool but for sure its a lot better than bela n lele
I think so far decool is d only brand that goes into proper technics...now they (dont remember which brand) manage to produce mindstorm lookalike set due to release nxt year

SY n decool i would say the quality is d same n i havent experience any missing pieces unlike bela which is common
*
Thanks! didnt know kazi is as good as sy n decool.

i have heard good feedback on star diamond too. anyone manage to try it out?

Probably due to currency exchange. Most of his items price has been increased. But still lower than others. Few months back he put the tumbler on offer for 45!
