crazy expensive.

MF for RM249
Xwing for RM129

last time i saw Lepin MF selling for RM360 in a kiosk, i was just WTF... doh.gif

actually, if you directly buy from Taobao, it could save you a lot.
i got my Decool 7111 less than RM200 included shipping fees from China to my house.

I ordered 2 Lepin GBHQ from taobao with taobao direct shipping and now the shipment has been rejected at the warehouse in China because it is apparently too big.

Anyone encountered the same problem before?
*
for direct shipping, each side of the parcel cannot be more than 80cm, and sum up of 3 sides (HxWxL) cannot be more than 120cm, and the weight is 15KG.
either you could ask the seller help u to re-package the parcel (take away the big box, put all the parts inside into another smaller box)
or get agent help you on that..

i nearly encounter the same when i ordered 7111, luckily the seller did ask me whats the limitation of the parcel's measurement before he shipped it out.

Thanks for the advice! In your experience, would i need to pay additional charges for that?
*
hard to say..
i guess the parcel now should be with the courier service (seller's end), so you perhaps could ask the seller, to get the courier service to return the parcel back to him, re-pack it, and deliver it to the warehouse again.

actually...when i checked the TGDS prior to the payment page...it states max is 130cm and limit 15kg...
*
u are right, i did realize that too... but when i checked under the Help Center, it mentioned max is 120cm.
i havent got chance to clarify with them yet.

https://world.taobao.com/helper/knowledge.htm?kid=6551700

anyhow, for 2 units of GBHQ, regardless is 120cm or 130cm, for sure the warehouse will reject it...

That's why I said try one maybe can go through
*
you have to confirm with them if the limitation is 120cm or 130cm, as i remember the measurement for GBHQ seems exceeded 120cm.

2 units of gbhq definitely have to opt for consolidated shipping...
*
agree, thats 1 of the solutions.

I wanna buy the lepin UCS millennium falcon from taobao but worried that its too big.

Anyone got shipping problem when buying from taobao due to size?

I bought smaller sets before using the taobao 'direct shipping' option with no problem.
*
u can advise the seller to put all the packages into a smaller box which within the limitation.

what even surprised me was, no missing bricks, no defect bricks, and yet there were a lot of extra bricks. i was wondering if i have missed out any steps in bricking it.

this probably be my last bootlegs, getting tired in bricking somehow.

I wonder does anyone interested with the finish built bootlegs bricks?
I have:
- Lepin 05033 Millennium Falcon
- Lepin 05028 Super Star Destroyer
- Lepin 16001 Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters
- Decool 7111 Super Heroes Batman Tumbler Batmobile

Moving to another house, thinking to let go these huge bricks set.
