From the recent toy expo in China if I am not mistaken

For my case, my supplier will check his "stash" for the missing bricks. If he does not have it, he will contact his supplier to get a replacement but this process will take a longer time (So far I have not encounter this before so I'm not sure how long it will take). Usually I'll just walk in to Amcorp to search for the missing parts (Flea market or BrickSanctuary) instead of waiting unless it's a "special piece" which you can't buy.

It's really frustrating to have missing parts in the sets we're building which means you couldn't continue with your bricking & you gotta go out sourcing, like what a member mentioned, you may go to brick sanctuary, they have most of the parts that you may be needing else you may head to Mighty Utan (Dataran Prima Branch / Cheras Branch). I've encountered few times with missing parts especially Lepin & once with enlighten pirate ship.

Glad to hear that, it's a large set & i think you need long hours to finish it, mind sharing how much you got it? i know lepin & bela also have this temple, but not sure what's the differences.

Hehe, actually my family was not that well to do when i was young. Ironically Lego was not doing well in the lat 70s early 80s so it was quite cheap at the time. My first sets were a lego city police car and a huge robot mech from the 'space' series at the time.

With regards to being able to moc, it think its a skill that comes naturally after playing with lego a lot. After a while, you start to automatically recognise pieces and how they fit together at one glance. The real challenge (and fun) then comes from figuring out new ways to make two pieces fit together,

I think some of the bootleg Lego companies on Taobao are already selling individual bricks for MOC at a cheaper rate. This might help a little.

seriously dude. Thats why ive gotten into these lego compatible sets. the price alows me to grab multiple copies of a set for MOC-ing purposes or just loose brick sources for customizing stock sets.

As an example the smaller tumbler + batpod  i have is from 2 x Decool stock tumbler sets ( 2xRm50) + 1 Decool simple technic truck set ( rm10). In fact i still have quite a bit black pieces left to mod my bat which should be arriving tomorrow.

if cafe corner is coming...that means the retired sets (green grocer / palace cinema etc) possibly be coming too ?

btw...i need opinions from those what have bricked lepin temple of airjitzu...recently i bought a set, only today i have the time to check the content...good thing is all parts are sealed in plastic bags...however there's one sealed plastic bag with only a pair of minifig legs in it whereas the rest of the minifigs legs are sealed in other plastic bag...do i need to panic now because i fear that there might be missing parts ?

for direct shipping, each side of the parcel cannot be more than 80cm, and sum up of 3 sides (HxWxL) cannot be more than 120cm, and the weight is 15KG.
either you could ask the seller help u to re-package the parcel (take away the big box, put all the parts inside into another smaller box)
or get agent help you on that..

i nearly encounter the same when i ordered 7111, luckily the seller did ask me whats the limitation of the parcel's measurement before he shipped it out.

you have to confirm with them if the limitation is 120cm or 130cm, as i remember the measurement for GBHQ seems exceeded 120cm.
agree, thats 1 of the solutions.

the serial numbers on the bag won't help as the manual is illustrated based on bigger plastic bags (e.g: #1 #2 #3 and so on)...decool 7111 did a good job on that
