Nola not a lego fan, I got all sort of sudden hype which I started buying stuff then sell them at a loss... C my new thread selling tools and paints for gunpla which I bought last month due to sudden hype also...

kinda same boat here...i bought the hot gundams such as sazabi ver.ka etc few years back...still MISB

hehehe.. That's a relief to hear.. At first i thougt it was like they (SY) put a wrong head in the set.. But after i got another set with MK17 minifig then i realised it got the same head.

My Iron Man/ Avengers series.. Just a little modification from several SY sets plus some small MOC from old lego parts like the Iron Man armory and gun/armor rack. This sets just lighten me up everytime i sees it and just grab my attention to play/poss/upgrade n such..it's generally a relaxing funtime after a few month of headache building all my Lepin star wars UCS.. Hope u guys can post all of ur MOCs/Sets/collections here to cheer up this forum.. Happy playing guys😁

P.s: maybe i will do some reviews on SY and Lepin sets after this.. Hope i really have time to do all that.. Any comments are welcome

Hey guys..

I was doing some detailing on my avengers moc.. And just saw this.. An inconsistency of design/printing for the minifigs from SY. Both are the MK5 ironman. What u can see on the right is the silver painting is just brilliant.. Where on the left it was painted in dark grey. On the backside of the minifigs.. It was totally different design and last one..the left fig has a distort molding on his mask on the mouth
Have u guys encountered these as well.. Share ur opinions

for the 1/5 price of lego...i won't worry so much on minifigs which just cost like...RMB3 each ?

well.. Did'nt care bout it either.. Just a simple review on the bootleg products.. The difference in quality and such..
Coz what i read from the earlier thread.. There is such a biased view on the products manufactured by these chinese bootleggers such as SY, Lepin, Decool and many more..
Some are certain that SY is the best.. Some are so annoyingly discredit other manufacturers saying that they have no quality like the other one.. What u guys are doing is similar to the LEGO die hard fans who condemned these bootlegggers and dont even care to see these products by their own eyes.
So.. What i did was just.. Buy a few of Lepin sets..a few of SY sets.. Some smalls from Decool.. Then build it n review it. My conclusion is.. Even Lego do some mistakes.. So just be cool bout every opinions here where peoples have their own opinions base on their own experience. RM3 is still money.. And i have spend a few thousands of my money buying all these sets from these bootleggers in a matter of months. But what i can tell u.. Is every RM i spend is really worth while. I'm simply happy with my collection so far.. And still have a bucket on my wishlist.. Happy playing guys.

Well this is my current not that impressive collections of Lepin, SY, Decool,Pogo,Xingbao and Lego® plus a few more bootleg minifigs i dont even know the name of the manufacturers. Enjoy the pics.. And just tell me.. Do I qualified to do some reviews here or what?

i mentioned earlier SY is better in overall quality...didn't specify minifigs only

and i also own SY / Decool...but stay away from Lele

and it's RMB3 = RM2 approximately

ps: i have a huge bucket list too ~, including latest ninjago city and UCS MF (7k+ pcs)

not judging u..
But judging on SY is so lackies of good/big sets except for the MOC series the avengers lab set that i own and the airport scene with Giant Ant-man(which Lepin also produce).. Most of SY sets that i can put my hand onto is merely not more than RM30. So how can u put SY is so much better in overall quality then others?

Ps: please correct me if i'm wrong bout the sets SY produce.. For maybe i'm just looking around exclusively on star wars and avengers set.. And sometime just have a look at their also nice looking s.w.a.t sets.. Cheers bro

i own lepin as well..which they are the biggest manufacturer now it seems

but if SY produces the same sets as lepin...i would go for SY personally

This is what i can share so far..
1st pic: this is all 100% Lego sets and minifigs.(polybag at-dp) (2013 wookie gunship)

3rd pic: on the left is a bootleg wookie (dont know the brand) i bought loose(RM4) wayback b4 i bought the used wookie gunship for RM140..original price (first release in malaysia around 2013)a bit less than RM400. On the right is the Lego wookie. Both look almost the same at a glimpse. On closer look.. The printing on the bootleg look funny on the face.. No print on the leg. And a huge hole on topside of the wookie's crossbow. The Lego wookie had a flat color(not shiny) print which give the realistic effect.

4th pic: nice rank print on the Lego wookie's arm.. No print on the bootleg.. The back side look somewhere similar for both.

5th & 6th pics: almost a standard for lego minifigs to have a double sided face as u all know.. Lepin is following this standard in most of their minifigs too. I also found just a few of SY minifig that has double face i.e. Blackwidow and Scarlet (avengers).

7th & 8th pic: dont know bout this brand(i shall call it 'Lid').cant find it online either. Looks to me kinda a bootleg from a bootleg(Lele) hahaha. The graphic of the stormtrooper kinda decent looking.. But..

9th to 11th pics: the left is the stormtrooper(st) from the Lid.. The right is the Lego® st... No laa..Just kidding..hehehe.. The right is from my Lepin Imperial Shuttle UCS set. (Not gonna spend RM80 to 140 just for the ori Lego st minifig only..can buy me a good Lepin sets for that kind of money)
U can see from afar how diff it looks especially on the helmet. But notice that the Lid st torso and leg is printed base on the 2017 Lego st and the Lepin st is base on original Lego st from way wayback.. And still the torso print on Lid st is a bit diff from the Lego st itself. The head part.. Both are true to their respective design to Lego st.

12th to 14th pics: just for added info: I really..really love the quality on everything for this Boba Fett minifig by Pogo. The
print is as good as Lego. Saw a few of star wars minifigs by Pogo that is in excelent quality.. That eventually came to.. ordering 30 Pogo stormtroopers at RM4/minifig straightaway 2 days ago lolz...

Overall: eventhough some of the bootleg minifigs has a minor print/design error, i can see that they(bootleggers) are picking up competing with each other..going for 99.9% lego look. This is a bonus to us who does'nt want to spend most of our hard earned money for collecting ori Lego. And so far.. By my experience.. Pogo and Lepin has the best minifigs that is true to Lego look.. Only the downside is..it is hard to find Lepin minifigs without buying a set.

Any one have a side by side comparison of poe's x wing fighter from lele vs lepin vs bela????

Which brand is superior in terms of quality and color?

saw poe's x wing side by side by Lepin & Bela at my fren's fren shop.. What i can tell u is both are a Nice built.. Looking closely.. Bela has a more vibrant color to it.. Lepin is at par. Downside of it..Bela always had their brick connection far too tight.. Maybe its because they use an external paint on the brick thus make it thighter than usual(just a theory of my own). But it maybe also on the positive side if u r the kind that built n display only..no tweaking no nuthin. I have no comment for Lele.

Nice. I've been probing the net looking for Bela reviews on Poe's X wing and I couldn't find any. Mostly lepin or lele reviews. Just want to see pros and cons of Bela boots. I'm just starting to collect knock offs as the real deals are getting ridiculously overpriced.

Can anyone tell me who or what this guy is? It is from Lepin Krennic's Shuttle set. Suppose to get K2SO.. But got this instead.
