I like the fact that there are a lot of happenings in Rimbayu - all these activities by the developer really create an awareness and get people talking.

But I really wonder what is the traction of this township, since it is kinda far away.. how fast will it grow? And these days, the market slow down, BLR increase. I think the growth of this township will slow down tremendously! Probably no one really wanna stay there. There's so many other places.

Yeah I live and work in PJ. But PJ is too congested. If I move to Rimbayu, I think it will be nice, then can rent the PJ house for higher rental. But sometimes just thinking of traffic back to PJ is not a good thought. Perhaps I should change job to Cyber.. but problem is the kids schools etc. Sigh!

Anyone here who own Chimes? 5 months ago, they asked us to pay deposit for TNB and water. Have your cheque cleared? I think mine hasn't and I wonder what's happening. Person in charge on leave today, LOL.

My motivation is on a more 'peaceful' lifestyle and also that the PJ house can fetch higher rental, thus can help pay Rimbayu a bit; LOL!

Cheque will expire 6 months from date of issue.  So afterward no need to pay?  drool.gif

Ah, that is a good point. This Rimbayu, don't know what's happening then. Does it mean they are going to send a mail out to everyone to send a new cheque?

QUOTE(phonixloo @ Nov 12 2014, 12:19 PM)
Sure, PJ can easily rent out.  If you rent out by room, you may get more  icon_rolleyes.gif

Rimbayu will be very difficult to rent out.

Rimbayu need at least 10 years to be mature.. sometimes I wonder if I made the right choice, LOL! doh.gif sweat.gif

So I just received letters to collect keys for Chimes and in that letter I have to pay $300 maintenance fees. Why?

Congratulation.......  I had yet to receive my letter  sad.gif

For rubbish collection as authorities yet to take over the role.  Besides, I suppose you need to pay others like quit rent, and assessment.
*
The $300 is for rubbish collection, trimming of flora in common area and for cleaning drain. $300 is for 6 months. I'm just wondering if this is normal for people to pay? I just find it strange because it's not a GnG.

You will be paying only during this transition phase... The developer will eventually pass back this responsibility to majlis bandaraya.. Common in most new developemdent

I see. Thank you.
In total have to pay extra $1K including water and electric deposit. Fyi.

How's the quality and finish? Those who collected keys can comment? Also no photos huh? I'll check the FB site. Next week when I collect keys I'll snap photos.

What make you so love single sty bungalow?

No need to climb stairs. Easy maintenance. And usually lots of land and space. And airy/windy.

Isn't water and electricity deposit paid early?

Should be. But my cheque 6 months they also didn't clear. I suspect my cheque lost in mail. Anyway maybe this is the reason they bill me now.

So, went to Bandar Rimbayu and received the keys.

Drove to Chimes. It's probably 200-300 meters from Arc. Very near.

I really like the purple theme colour of the 24x75. It's very nice. The beige colour of 22x75 is too industrialize.

Right after main door, you get this wall! Waste of space! Not sure why they designed that way.

Not enough windows in the living room. Hot hot hot.

I like this air well by the stair. Made the house bright. Well done.

Living room upstairs is spacious. Well, at the expense of a smaller master bedroom.

Ceiling is quite high.

Toilet door is kinda strange.

But all in all, the workmanship is excellent. I didn't find any defect. Probably have to comb it again with a fine toothbrush. But overall - it's great.
