Ya. That wall has 3-4 power sockets. Obviously it's for TV systems.

I went to the show room as well, just to compare..

They put a water fountain and tore down the wall blocking the stairs. I wonder why they didn't build the stairs straight down but turned 90 degree to the side, thus wasting precious space.

Do people really sit down and relax right in front of the main front door? Seriously?

user posted image
No TV? No power points? Where is the TV?

user posted image

How did they fit a nice dry kitchen in that small space?? Oh Ya. They tore away the maids room. Then why build it in the first place?

I didn't realize 22 don't have maids room. Lucky for you 22 guys.

Kitchen is small.

user posted image

Why is there a maid room? And the room does not even have a proper window. Just a small rectangle shape above, just like prison cell.

Ok.. No more photos to share smile.gif

All in all, I like the upper floor better than the ground floor.

Actually, I think the show room is 22. The upper living floor is much smaller. No wonder I find it odd when I went upstairs.

yeah the upstairs living room for 22 is smaller and not perfectly rectangular? the 2nd and 3rd room door is not aligned straight.

As for the small room at the back, I think it's not maid room but a laundry room.
*
I don't think there's a pipe in and outlet in the maid room. Definitely not a laundry room.

So many comments / complaints...when u buy, the show unit is not ready yet ka?
*
That is correct. The show unit came up only 1 year after the sale, I believe.

So, I have also done some distance checking. From Kesas Highway exit to the Arc is about 9km. From the 3rd roundabout in Kota Kemuning to the Arc is about 4.5km. The Arc to Chimes is about 300m. It's actually not bad, distance wise but I think the moment the linkage to SKVE/Elite is open, it is even better especially for people who is working in Cyber Jaya. I bet going to Cyber using KK/Kesas is just too far, unless there is a back way, does anyone know?

total unit Rumah Selangorku @ Bandar Rimbayu is 2330 unit... slight more than total of Phase 1 to 5 of Bandar Rimbayu...

It's cool that the govt have this initiative. I think it's the same as how it's done in Kota Damansara. Huge area with a mix of different type of residence. The growth of this area is very promising!

Are they going to build new units for this scheme or current units price will be chop down?
*
All developers of new areas are required to provide low cost housing. This is what the Selangorku covers. Not existing phases.

And don't forget if you bought Chimes via bank loan, there is a 5 year of lock in. And you have to pay penalty. Really not worth flipping.

BTW, the gentlemen above - $27K late charges.. that was truly WTF reaction from me. I am using Citibank and no late charges, thankfully!

This is noob and lazy question... Is the land outside the gate (but not tar road) belong to house owner or public?
*
I know which ones are these houses. Very long driveway. Is it still available? I don't remember they were on sale in the beginning. I suspect the developer keep them for later.

I think I asked this before - the 24x75 has a maid room beside kitchen and yet it's too small to be a maid room. What do you all plan to do with it? Break it down? Turn it into a store? Put your rack of servers and NAS?

That's why I don't think it's a utility room. More like a maid room. So what are you guys planning to do with it? Break it down?

if one works in KLCC area, is it worth to drive 45km from rimbayu to KLCC everyday for work?

rimbayu to KLCC area is as far as nilai to KLCC.

i wouldn't do it. so much time spent on the road and it's pretty unproductive. it's not like you could read during your commute.
