For my unit, I didn't plan to do any renovation at the back. I find that it is really not justify to pay so much for a small additional to the build up.

renovation will be fun, but think of the money going to fork out......

But at the back of the house like a bit weird, You just see others 'backside'.....

Count... count.... count..... budget not enough.....

Money all park inside the house already..... Next year GST come some more worst.....

Take full flexi loan.... so all reserve with the bank.... he he he....

For renovation, I'm thinking of necessity first:
1. Grill - No choice for modern prison
2. Plaster ceiling
3. Kitchen cabinet / room cabinet / walk in type like the show room type
4. Car pooch floor tile
5. Outside wall

The first items is necessity..... following those items will make you house in messy state if you choose to do it later.....

What would be the budget require?

There will be another round of virtual appreciation when GST come.

It's not a must but it will make your stay more comfortable. If you decide to do it later once your move it, you will regret .........

Unless VP, you receive your progressive payment late mean you pay less interest.
