ahh yes finally it's preparing for shipment. got worried that the order might have gotten screwed up amidst the jammed server

if it's in the processing stage, you can cancel your order. however, if it has already entered the preparing for shipment stage, you can't cancel your order. but it takes quite a while to go from the processing stage to the preparing for shipment stage. like for me, i ordered it at 3.30am where the processing stage began. then at 6.30pm, after 15 hours, it proceeded to the next stage which is the preparing for shipment stage. from this stage on, you are unable to cancel the purchase. but as a reminder, the duration from the processing stage to the preparing for shipment stage might differ due to the online traffic and their server. i'm not too sure on that part. here's the excerpt;

"We’ve received your order:
We’ve received your order and will begin processing it soon! You can modify your order details once the order enters the processing status.

Processing Items:
We are processing your order now. You can modify your order details through online Order Status, or by contacting Apple Online Store Customer Service.

Preparing for Shipment:
We are preparing your item(s) to ship. While your order is being prepared, we are unable to modify your order details. Once your item ships, we will email you a Shipment Notification with complete order details.

Shipped:
Your order has shipped! Your carrier tracking number will be updated in online Order Status and the carrier’s website within 24 hours.

Complete:
We’ve billed you for Apple services only. You will not receive a physical item."

i read some posts (forgot which thread) that said some of the forumers got their phone shipped to them within 3-4 days after ordering it. then again i can't verify their claims as there are other forumers here that can post a completely contrasting story which may not be true at all. but to not raise your hopes too high, just set the furtherest duration that you can think of. hurts less if it ends up being posted later than expected.

not too sure about the few days part though. might depend on your turn; the earlier you order, the faster it'll be shipped i guess. yeah just hope that the processing stage will be long. worst case scenario, you can just sell it off at the Garage Sale. i'm sure there would be tonnes of people interested seeing that everyone wants the Space Grey now.

ahh yes hopefully the same will happen for this year's model. that means it should arrive next week right? i'm okay with that, so long it won't be like 3-4 weeks. that'll be troublesome.

when did you order it? if it's the 6+, might be later though. so far those who have received their phone seems to be the 6 if i'm not mistaken..

but i feel for the bros and sis that will receive their phone later; some got, some haven't eventhough they ordered around the same time as those who have received it. all because of different delivery company. hang in there guys.
