Sorry to pour cold water on your guys, but my previous experience with Apple Store tells me that the phones are to be shipped from China.

The Status Transit from Singapore actually means their warehouse in China received Singapore's order and is processing the items to be shipped out. You will see that your status will change back to Guanxhou China.

Like mentioned, based on my previous experience of buying from Apple Online Store, your orders are received by Apple Sg because it is the hub for Apple Products( Apple My and Sg). Apple Sg will send your orders to Shenzen, China where the warehouse there will process and ship your order if there are stocks. Then only will the stocks be shipped to Singapore first before to Malaysia. However if Apple Sg has the stocks at hand, they will ship direct to Malaysia like some bros experienced.

I just placed an order for 6+ 64GB Space Gray. I haven't decided to use it myself or resell it. My previous purchases, Maybank hasn't charged to my card yet so my points are yet updated for redemption. smile.gif
*
Expected delivery date on the 17/12 to 23/12 too ?

How many of you purchase without an Apple Account?
*
It makes no difference. nod.gif Just that at the end of the purchase, you still have to register an account with Apple.

Please also do take note that if you buy you phone from Apple Store directly, there is a 14 day One to One exchange policy for defective sets. thumbup.gif

This policy doesn't apply for any sets purchased through authorized resellers or telcos as the said authorized resellers and telcos will have their own replacement policies.

Courier companies actually sub contract their deliveries to outsiders. I was really suprised when I received a package from a delivery guy driving a Mitsubishi Trition. Further enquired and found out it was his own personal car and he was doing this part time. laugh.gif

Just bought two more units and based on my previous two times purchases, they were charged immediately. The full amount I meant. sad.gif
Out of nowhere, it only charged me RM 1 for authorization, this is not the first time for me to use this credit card in Apple Store. sad.gif

I called Maybank and they said no issue for my credit card but they only received the RM 1 charge so far. My weekend AmEx rebate.... cry.gif I got the rebate last month...

I did receive email from Apple Store for my order and can find this order in Apple online but didn't charge any amount yet. Sigh.

Did you pay using paypal or mistakenly logged on to your paypal account? The transaction could be transacted using your paypal account without you noticing it.

Hi everyone...I bought Iphone6 64gb with applestore at RM2749. But today I check my credit card statement, they charged me RM2770.99. They have charged me extra RM21.99..

Anyone of you have the same situation? Why is it so ah?
*
QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Dec 26 2014, 01:30 PM)
i believe you paid with cimb credit card. they do have "cross border" charge of around RM20 as reported by some buyers already.

What the heck!! Stupid CIMB!! Blood sucker!!

yeah, CIMB charged them, I also kena once long time ago,

Yup. This is CIMB's policy to charge all 'foreign' transactions. Strange though as we make the purchase through Apple Online Store Malaysia and not some company in a foreign land. This 'cross border' transaction charge should not apply. shakehead.gif

Er. Since when PayPal is accepted in Apple Store? smile.gif
Nope, I'm very sure it's my AmEx as I also inputted the CVV. smile.gif
My PayPal is already authorized years ago.
Anyway, whatever it is la. Not that important anymore, I still haven't received the SMS that payment is charged to my card.
*
Hmm hmm.gif
Since its not charged yet, maybe its some sort of verification charge before they charge your card but then again this is paypal procedure. hmm.gif

QUOTE(BRY7 @ Dec 27 2014, 09:30 PM)
the cross border fee is charged by CIMB because you're transacting in local currency with a foreign payee.
in other words, Visa/Master isn't earning anything when they should earn because there should be currency exchange
*
But the item is bought at Apple Store Malaysia, not Apple Store Singapore etc. Would not be fair to charge cross border fees like in this situation. But then again, only Cimb cardholders get charged. I have no such issues with my Public Bank and Citibank cards.

like i've stated, the payee is in SG but you're charged with local currency.
if you're buying from local payee with local currency, there won't be any imposed charges
*
Yea bro.. I get your point. Basically there is no Apple Store My. Apple Store My just serves as a front to collect orders from Malaysia and lets Apple Sg handles the everything from order processing to delivery.

If there is stock for the model you want in Singapore Apple warehouse, then your unit will be directly shipped from Singapore...which is faster by atleast 2- days.
