Luckily there's the Malaysian Online Apple Store, since supply of the iPhone 6 is still scarce in local retail outlets (Machines, Mac City, [i] Store, and many others don't have stock at all).

When my Dad offered to pay for my 6 as a Christmas gift, I headed online and placed the order on the 24th. While the phone was originally supposed to be here tomorrow, I'm already using it now, haha!

Turns out that UPS actually shipped the item to Sepang, then on to Shah Alam, on Christmas Day. And it eventually was dropped off at my office on the 26th (faster than I imagined)!

That's why I ended up buying the phone online, thanks to some people I know advising me not to take the grossly-inflated prices from local phone shops. And I was lucky that the shipment went straight from Singapore to Sepang, instead of that illogical route towards Shenzhen, since I guess they have ample stock over at the Yio Chu Kang warehouse in the Lion City!

Wow, your iPhone's been stuck in Shah Alam for four days now. I guess it could be because you're in Kuching, which is obviously geographically further than me in PJ.

And since it's already the 29th as I type this, I hope you have received the unit already!

Looks like our friends in China have gotten the wrong end of the stick once again, considering the iPhone is made there.

As a comparison, the 64GB Gold iPhone 6 sold in China is RMB6,088.00, which is converted to MYR3,457.82, based on today's exchange rate. That's just MYR100 cheaper than how much a 128GB iPhone 6 Plus is sold for, here in Malaysia!

That explains why Zhong Guo is the home for cloned Apple products!

If you're lucky, you can get a text message like the one I received, saying that my item has been shipped - on the same day as when I placed the order (December 24)!

In the end, even if my ETA was December 29, the iPhone 6 arrived at my office on the 26th!

Ouch, that means you can't do any online transactions then, since the Malaysian Apple Online Store does not have any way to pay for purchases using the bank-in method (correct me if I'm wrong though)!

If you're lucky, you can definitely get your iPhone within 3 days (I ordered mine on Xmas Eve, saw the item shipped over on Xmas Day, and received it on Boxing Day, by the way). Otherwise, like what some other forum members have mentioned earlier, it can take up to a week or more!

Which means they now have tons of stock, and as such, iPhones can be shipped out almost immediately.

Stuff from Apple are premium priced, yet the product quality is top notch!

Finally the stock has come in to Malaysian Resellers (after such a long wait), although I've already purchased mine late last month via the Online Store!

Nope, no such card spotted on my package, which came in a brown courier box, by the way.

And like what 666devil said, our phone's serial and IMEI numbers are already directly in Apple's database!

But seriously, if supply of the iPhone is still scarce, just get it online. Apple Singapore usually has a sufficient number of stock in their Yio Chu Kang warehouse and you should be able to get your iPhone within 2-3 days (like me, when I ordered mine during the Xmas period)!

Same day shipment maybe? That's what Apple mentioned in their first update of my order made on December 24 - it was shipped out on the same day!

You're still using a 4S? That's quite an old iPhone, and it's best to upgrade now, since the 6 is a big upgrade from the one that you're using now!

Which means the time I ordered my iPhone 6 was a lucky one, since the order was made on Christmas Eve and I thought that nothing will be done on Xmas Day but I was wrong. Turns out that UPS actually delivered the iPhone to KLIA on that public holiday and in the end, I received it on Boxing Day!

That was a really fast delivery, I must say!

Let's hope you can get it within the week or even in 2-3 days, just like mine!

Hahaha, I know right? When I was at Mac Studio Live yesterday, getting the Spigen Ultra Hybrid casing, I asked about the stock for iPhone 6 and guess what?

There is still no stock, even today! Crazy or what?
