Mine has been picked-up at Singapore at 6.55pm. I guess I will receive it at Shah Alam on Thursday/Friday?

Finally! Ordered on Monday 19th January at 11.30pm. I think if I ordered earlier in the day like before 5pm, I'd receive it a day earlier.. But nevertheless, yeayyyyyyyy

Agree on that! Refgretted getting gold for the previous iphone 6.. But I realised today it has a tiny dot deep in the screen. I might have a dead pixel

I've applied glass protector on the screen, and Hao protector at the back.. That cost me quite a lot haha. But then if I want to sell it in the future it might be a problem to the next owner.. Still thinking whether I should change..

It's quite annoying coz once seen, cannot be unseen

It cost me near rm200 Tough decision to make sigh

Would it be worse if I don't change? Like affecting other pixels

Yeah only seen when I'm on white screen and it doesn't bother me that much. Just scared of it getting worse.

Called apple today, for 1 hour and 15 minutes duhh so long. They arranged pickup on Friday. But they'll only send out the new one after it has arrived at the warehouse. The guy said it'll be a week until I get a new phone, which is troublesome since I don't have a spare phone. Still pondering whether I should change or not

I think a better thing to do is wait for the 6s, claim warranty and sell my one?

Both of you are right to have a say. Yeah bro Sonic, the 6S will probably be released in September, and probably arrive in Malaysia in November, which by then my phone would still be covered by warranty as it's 10 months old. But then what bro 666devil had gone through sounds awful. Getting a lot of trouble for claiming warranty of a 2-week old phone is that tough already, imagine my 10-month old phone. There are 2 scenarios, I might go to the customer service centre and meet someone who accepts the pain of having a dead pixel by looking at it everyday, or someone who says it's too tiny of a problem to get a warranty claim.

I would be feeling bad all my life selling someone a refurbished unit in the future. So I decided to exchange 1-1 and get a new set instead. DHL came to pick up my phone yesterday evening, Apple said the phone needs to reach the warehouse first before sending me a new one. He said it would be 7-9 business days Hope it'll be reaching me soon enough, and hoping the new one comes without any problem. *fingers-crossed*

I see, that sounds good. How long did you have to wait for it to be claimed? I was wondering that too with refurbished set, the outer casing is new or used. Good for you receiving a better replacement after claiming

I see. Yeah I guess it depends on the individual working at the service center too. Same experience when I went over to the one at One Utama last monday. First I met this guy who didn't even smiile, he said 'don't even bother claiming if it doesn't affect you, we will only give you a refurbished unit'.. It sounded like he wanted to give me an old unit as replacement lol. And the he said talk to the other guy from the counter, that guy was friendly, checking my unit to see the dead pixel, agreeing there is a dead pixel, and telling me to call apple instead and request for a new one,

True, if you want it bad enough, many doors are waiting for you, even if some are closed

I received it wayyy earlier than the estimated delivery date. Ordered on monday night, received on thursday. But yeah it's public holiday so you have to add up.

Apple Singapore received the order from Apple online store Malaysia, but unfortunately when you placed your order, Apple Singapore didn't have any stocks in hand. So they transfer the order to Apple's factory at Shenzhen, China instead and you will get it straight from the factory

My replacement unit is on it's way
