Simple question, I am interested in seeing where you guys stand when it comes to this two brands here in Malaysia...

Kenny Rogers Roasters and Nandos....Who has the better food and why?

I've personally tried both and both have its pros and cons.

nandos! more delicious, compared to kenny rogers

Nando Good. Especially at OUG.

KR pre roasted all the chicken. if you are lucky... u still can feel the warm of the chick.

For the pass few years.. i got all cold chicken. and always request to heat it up..

nandos chicken more moist than kenny rogers. side dishes more tasty and fresh too

Thread moved to food and flavours.

I'd choose nandos over KR anytime. Other than the food, nandos has more enthusiastic staffs compared to KR.

Wanna give Peruvie Grill Chicken at TTDI a try? I couldn't believe it when I red the comments on the restaurant while I was searching for dinner on Foursquare.



...and so I have tried, it was different from the usual Nandos chicken, this chicken has some kind rendang coating to it, it gives the chicken a kick in the flavor, worth a second visit.

KR tastes too much like Crony food for me. A waste of hard-earned cash.

Nando Chicken small tiny, eat few plate also not enough

i love nandos because i like spicy food. they used to have grilled sausages but now no more, i'm a bit disappointed but still prefer nandos.

kenny rogers claimed their chickens are healthier but i thk it's a bit tasteless. i don't fancy those sidelines so not a big issue for me. however they have really nice muffins.

what i hope is that those restaurants can lower their price.

we must have competitors otherwise no improvement. think kfc and mcd will do promotion if not bcos of other competitors?

I choose Nandos

I prefer Nandos...because of the sauce...

Kenny rogers quality has gone done. I ordered their asian spicy salad and u know what was the 'spicy'? They pour over chilli sauce onto the salad. That was pure no-no. N no more patronising for me. The muffin still taste ok though... but the texture looks different from the yesteryears.....

Nandos is a better option for me when comes to taste n quality wise. And the price is similar to kenny rogers hence nandos is more fulfilling for me. However, i just find thst the quantity has shrunk, or perhaps my appetite has increased.

less salt, less fat, less calories. Kenny Roger is a rip off

Nando > KR.. because of the chicken and sauce. it is much better than KR and the quality for KR is poor nowadays.

Nando > Dave Deli > KR
