not really understand ur question, the sky is originally so blue, i cant control it


have to be fast, or else it will become another jiu zhai gou, flooded with people

Normally it will be all black and the sun will over expose lor. what specific settings do you remember?

Overall very nice series of photos
But I think the photos are kinda oversharpen and oversaturated, just my 2 cents though.

Looks like this place is getting famous. JiuZaiGou has easier access but this one strictly by train/bus.

Like the pictures. Your pictures makes people want to visit when compared to those on blogs. Theirs is less appealing for being less saturated.

yes, jiu zhai gou definitely at the last of my list, but difficult to find ppl going there together

metering mode (exposure) : center , focus area : center

first i half press the shutter to lock metering and focus at the trees(darker area), and then i just move to the composition that i want.

What u said is the camera detect the sun, so the camera will adjust the exposure become very dark, to prevent the sun from over expose. (i guess, im a noob too )

and well, the center part of the pic are still too dark, so i did adjust the brightness a little bit at the trees part. but sky was untouched.

yes, nobody wants to go to ya ding, the journey is too tiring... Super far from chengdu and road condition is not very good, sometimes the road was bumpy for like 1 hour, people who have car sickness will not want to try that... If bus from chengdu takes 2 whole days time, if by car not much difference also, but can stop whenever u want to take picture, and the scenery on the road is really pretty.

ya, i also feel some of the pics are over contrast+saturated, but then its a dilemma of <plain and true,but not that appealing> vs <colourful and fake ,but prettier>

and now yading have airport, but ticket is quite pricey though, around RMB 1600 1 way from chengdu airport.
