metering mode (exposure) : center , focus area : centerfirst i half press the shutter to lock metering and focus at the trees(darker area), and then i just move to the composition that i want.
What u said is the camera detect the sun, so the camera will adjust the exposure become very dark, to prevent the sun from over expose. (i guess, im a noob too

u are wrong and well, the center part of the pic are still too dark, so i did adjust the brightness a little bit at the trees part. but sky was untouched.
