Leading provider of integrated automation solutions to the semiconductor industry worldwide is looking for potential candidates for its Mechanical Design Engineer positions.

Role: Application Engineer

Description:

• Define and Document Equipment process flow requirement and specification
• Perform machine characterization to optimize critical process paths and application in order to meet equipment specification
• Review, simplify and optimize Internal Buy Off specification for equipment together with Quality Assurance Department
• Participate in continuous process improvement activities to enhance Equipment capability
• Support Equipment manufacturing activities by helping to trouble-shoot and resolve process and application-related issues
• Support other internal departments to handle customers' process and application related issues and recommend technical solutions
• Perform data analysis using statistical techniques and conduct process capability studies
• Transfer process and application knowledge to in house Engineers and Technicians to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Equipment UPH projection calculation base on specific process parameter


Requirements:

• Degree in Production / Mechanical / Material Science Engineering
• At least 3 years experience in an equipment manufacturing environment with a process/ Mfg/application engineering and background
• Strong interest in the development of new manufacturing processes
• Experience in process design and control in the area of laser marking process
• Knowledge in Material Science will be added advantage
• Knowledge in cycle time calculation
• Trained in SPC, DOC and other statistical tools

Location will be at Ang Mo Kio, Singapore.

Salary can go UP TO SGD 4XXX depends on experience.

Must have equipment automation background and not manufacturing background.
