for O&G, there is a big room for cost cutting.. as long as ppl still burning fossil fuel, O&G will still alright.. who want to use renewable fuel when fossil fuel is so cheap, especially asia  biggrin.gif

For all the ANALysts, I will add the one in CIMB, who gives BUY call for Prestariang, with TP 2.94, even though the companies has had 3 down quarters.
Today's closing price is 1.56 - would have been lower if MARA had not expressed interest in it.

CIMB punya, almost always put very optimistic TPs

Well, at least Pharmaniaga still managed to churn out growth. Can continue to hold and hope it will wake up someday yawn.gif

Among the IBs, CIMB put highest and probably the only who put "BUY" for AxisREIT. TP? RM3.80++ rclxub.gif

Alliance and RHB-OSK more conservative

In this storm, Mah Sing seems quite stable. Property developer, yeah property is heating...but their projects mostly at Klang Valley, not too expensive too...can buy for 3-5 year period? unsure.gif

I got Mah Sing shares too. But since it is going to have right issues and bonus issues, I wait and see first.

That day I followed a fiber installer to a condo run by Mah Sing. The MD's young son happened to be there. Everybody called him 'boss'. Typical chinaman company...

Growth is the main one, now oil price is so damm beat down.. you wanna bet it will go up (earnings growth) or go down (earnings less)..?  rolleyes.gif

My investing goal is to slowly accumulate yield assets that eventually I retire at 55, they can provide for my living needs

I'm extremely bad at making sell decisions sad.gif

With yield, I just sell when I can get better yielding assets

Stocks with no yield, when to sell? rclxub.gif

QUOTE(gark @ Dec 5 2014, 06:06 PM)
Growth can and should be boring.. you are misreading the quote.

It means you should not jump in, out and around the stock and make buy/sell decisions on a few sen movements or rumors and wild speculation.

Example of good growth companies like PBbank, KLK & F&N.. are they not boring? Everyday like no movement one, not much volume, but then again if you see the earning growth it is fantastic since IPO and so naturally the share price has steadily appreciated with compounded gain of >30% p.a..

Do you think only dividend yield given by these companies can make these gains?  tongue.gif
*
If u bought PBank, KLK, F&N or even BAT during its IPO or not long after IPO...your yield on COST is amazing whistling.gif

Ok la ok la, I get your point

If I dun get it, what do u think I bought Karex (DY only 1%) for? For its free condom sample during AGM? laugh.gif

It's just that I don't like commodities stock...not something stupid layman like me can understand and observe on-the-ground blush.gif

- I won't do Q1 annualized. Every quarter in a FY is different.
- FY14 results not so great, but this is also true for many other stocks. Do you foresee better results ahead?
- Penny stock, likely to be volatile.
- Can't commend from technical perspective
*
Pharma companies earnings not too volatile quater to quarter la

Revenue still growing, 5-6% growth so should be sustainable. Weak Ringgit should do them good in coming quarters

Do u think good for buy and hold?
