Hmm, Shanghai Stock Exchange crashing. Is it just a correction or a sign of a credit crisis? (Property companies defaulting on bonds.)

No need to worry, even if it's a credit crisis, should be a minor one only. China government has plenty of ammo for bailout and QE if necessary.

What do you guys think about PANTECH? It went down a lot in line with the O&G companies, but while they've been rebounded quite a bit from their lows, PANTECH hasn't.

..... well let's see if the 'bad news' has already been priced into the stock......

Looks to me like the market did price it in, so far anyway. Or is this just the overall exuberance of the market?

Tesco failed because it tried to be everything to everyone, too expensive to compete with the discount supermarkets, too cheap to look good compared to the upmarket ones. Probably Buffet simply doesn't understand retail as well he does other industries.

Damn, Bloomberg just changed their site design. I always use it for international news and a quick look at all of the major indices. But I find the new design unusable because it's too sparse. In the old site, I could see everything I needed on a single page without having to scroll.

Which sites do the rest of you like to use for this purpose?

MAHSING keeps dropping. I guess market really doesn't like its rights issue exercise.
