Trading below NTA yo

Cash also 40+ sen per share

Now trading at 64 sen hmm.gif

Cash rich after dumped their China water konsesi assets

COnstruction stock...u know la...I dunno ANALyse sad.gif
*
Lets see.. project is 470 million... 50% stake so makes it 235 million

Lets predict 20% construction net margin (very high for construction industry) ... and 70 month completion date.

So... 47 Million divided by 70/12 years = RM 8 million per year..

How much shares does Salcon have? How much EPS per year, if project is recognized as progressive?

Worth it? tongue.gif

If you are referring to me, then sorry. I just not familiar with the usage on the website which I did not manage to find it.

If asking question for information that already there but just we not manage to find it, then is consider spoon feed. Then you should assess on your questions in the first place within your 10k posts.

Oh well, here is legit kopitiam to increase post count. Anyway, it's better for me (budak spoonfeed) to leave this thread as I can't contribute much with kopi talk.
Thanks for your info.

Lol.. no one cares, this thread is not use to increase post cost, we don't care about post count. We are here to discuss stocks and make money, that's it.

In 2 replies from felix, and you still cannot find it.. although all you need to do is google the first reply he made 'bursamalaysia', and you would have found it all.

That explains a lot of your 'effort' in trying to find such information. rolleyes.gif

If you want to discuss stock, and want to learn/share in ways of stock investment, you are welcomed to continue to post here. But being judgemental and with a attitude to boost, think you will not fit well here.. just saying. laugh.gif

If you are talking about skpet, I would not buy at these prices, cause WTI crude price is still very low.

This recent price increase might be a window dressing for KLCI, the real story will begin after 1st jan..

i see... no wonder its price dropped from a dollar to about 80c or lower last week.
*
The interesting thing is that they are mainly concentrated in the 5000 BHP AHT & AHTS vessels, usually are lower margin vessels, which the charter rates are usually more stable but on shorter term. Also their vessels are 80% operating in Malaysian waters so it is subjected to cabotage which is an advantage.

Their current vessel utilization dropped from 89% to 75% hence the sharp drop in profit. They have another 8 vessels coming out in 2015-2016. If oil prices continue to drop and their vessels utilization might continue dropping to 50%-60%, hence the sharp recent selldown.

The owners are also very interesting.. thier CEO is a dentist. laugh.gif Main owner is Govt owned Yayasan Equiti Nasional..? rolleyes.gif

Might worth to pick up if it is cheap enough.. current prices is just at fair value.. wink.gif

It's far better to buy a wonderful company at fair price than a fair company at wonderful price. - Warren Buffett

Is this a wonderful company or just a fair one?
*
Depends..

At oil of $80 - wonderful company (Gross margin 50%!, cabotage moat, high growth from 6 new upcoming vessels)
At oil of $60 - fair company
At oil of $40 - shitty company (Gross margin 0% or worse..., drowing in debt, declining growth as vessel util drops..)

Thats what you get with commodity companies.. tongue.gif
