The technology exist now, just that it is still at the beginning stage. 20 years will be widespread use, but you can see the effect year on year no need to wait so long. The human civilization greatest strength is the ability to adapt to a shrinking carbon fuel source.

Examples are ..

Hybrid cars, which is already sold in Malaysia.. electric cars are naturally the next progression. KLCC already have electric car charging station.

Solar panels everyone is putting on their roofs.. cost to produce/kwh halving every 2 years or so...

Bio gas generation from landfill and incinerators.

next will be ...

Wind energy, geothermal, wave energy ... as the cost to produce comes down progressively..

Never liked Taa Ann.. it cost of production for CPO is very high, low efficiency... will be one of the first to be squeezed in low price environment.

During crashing commodity price, the most efficient producers will emerge stronger.

Still positive.. but profits less by 5 figures..

Today I monitor skpet... there are hella lot more buyers queuing than sellers queing.. no so good for pancing activities. Very less retailers participate it seems..

Maybe its mostly institution that buy/sell, who dont bother to queue one, straight whack from market.

Seems like all the ikan bilis became ikan kering/salted already.

I prefer to pancing the fat shark.

I never sold a single plantation even if it dropped from RM 3k to RM 2k CPO...

CPO price will be low as long as WTI oil price is low as they are related.

Same trick when buying OnG and CPO companies durign these hard times, buy the most efficient producers and the ones with the most orderbook/landbank.

Cash rich does not hurt either.

Oil & Gas drop..... oil & gas products also continue to drop...

In this case chemicals made from OnG.

But I think even as the selling price of chemicals drop, the feedstock price drop will offset it... maybe.
