Homer's biggest market is Europe, right? Are you sure it will do well, given Europe's economy?
*
Not US meh? blink.gif

http://announcements.bursamalaysia.com/EDM...rhad%202014.pdf

They present US and Europe as one region/segment.

However, exposure to USD is biggest, Euro exposure is fairly minimal.

thanks. but if look at pbt must also look at gross margin mah.

if pbt margin 40%, turnover margin 80%, not so nice also right. must be proportionate to me, at least.
*
They don't disclose Gross Profit as a line item in their financial statements.

So, I only analyse
(1) Revenue growth
(2) PBT margin
(3) PBT growth
(4) Dividend payout ratio, yield and growth

wait ar, those i go get a snap shot from bloomberg.
for dividend, the payout is not bad. the yield is 5% or more.
which makes it a very interesting counter.

ah pink, do you buy it for dividends or capital gain?
*
Both. Current P/E only 8 times.

With PBT margin of 20% and revenue growth of above 10%, what not to like? nod.gif

kcchong did a very good comparison of furniture counters listed on Bursa here:
http://klse.i3investor.com/blogs/kcchongnz/66908.jsp

His study is consistent with mine, Homeritz is the most profitable (margins-wise) furniture stock here.

Annual report 2011 says Europe was the biggest market, making up 40% plus sales. Though things could be different now.

Another thing is: will cheap oil helps Europe's economy?

While some jokers are spreading (bad) rumours at http://klse.i3investor.com/ptservlet.jsp?sa=pts&q=HOMERIZ whistling.gif

Being a trained (not yet chartered) accountant, I know that bank and cash balances are the most difficult to falsify. Sales and debtor/receivables are easiest to falsify, fake invoices are easiest to do ph34r.gif

But fake cash and bank balances? I don't think so... hmm.gif

What do you think of listed Malaysian China stocks cash balance? Are they fake? This is what a lot of people say because they avoid paying dividend.
*
Well, I don't know about China business processes, can't comment too much.

But traditionally Chinamen are kiamsiap (miserly).

Unless the management themselves hold a majority stake in the business, there is little incentive for them to declare dividends. Why reward shareholders when they can keep for themselves? Huge management salaries and bonuses, staff welfare where management takes a huge chunk, business trips etc etc etc...see Genting group? whistling.gif

QUOTE(kiasi @ Dec 28 2014, 07:25 PM)
Actually management themselves(China stocks major shareholders) do hold majority stake. Initially when listed in Bursa they promise to pay certain percentage of their profit as dividend. Somehow after 2nd or 3rd year of listing they did not pay dividend causing investors to dump their shares like no tomorrow. So base on your comment their problem is stingy not fake account, is it true? If Genting group can trade at PE more than 15, why most China stocks(minus those loss making) PE are less than 5?  rclxub.gif
