happend to my viva which almost 6 years still with stock brake pad but once go change at kenjilew there there sum hairline crack within the brake pad..
better go send for checking. if possible use ur hand and touch touch the disc, c got any uneven part or not... if nothing wrg thn might be the brake pad harden or thin already..

if outer not much thn mostly inner also wont so worst... if both different thn it might be sumthing wrg... might be u go pour water to the disc rotor while hot...

BLMs fr 2008 started with recommended SAE 20W50 grade...
That was even up till FLs in early 2011..

However, SCs were using  SAE 10W40 grade...

Then in late 2011 till present day, the recommendation was changed to 10W30...
However, SCs were/are still using 10W40...

Even service intervals hv been reviewed...

IMO?
Use whichever suits yr prefs & yr pocket!!
As long as yr choice complies with the recommended SAE grade RANGE (pls chk chart for manufacturer approved range), AND esp the API classification...

I already change all three of my brake lamps to this, Cree 80W high power LED bulb (5W electrical power during braking and 1W non-brake). For socket 1157, need to do some modification on the wiring.

The light power is stronger than any rear fog lamp you can seen on road during pressing brake. Feel sorry to those ppl behind me.

Anyway, regarding the 3rd brake lamp parallel resistor to eliminate CEL, threshold voltage of BLM will be slightly different from FL/FLX, my car for example, need as low as 51 ohms to draw enuf current to cheat ECU, for FLX, as experimented by wankel, 1.5k ohm is enuf.

For us the common grade is 91 RON, with 95 and 98 RON fairly readily available but at a fairly high price premium.
What I'm using is the base grade 91 with 10% ethanol, from what I've read the ethanol boosts the RON to 94-95 so should make it suitable, plus it has the bonus of being a few cents cheaper than the unadulterated fuel but the current price is about AU$1.50 per litre which is something I find fairly painful, and there is no public transport here.
