Yesterday night had a small incident wt GaGa. Those who follow will know I had a Shawie running on sports tayar, whilst my GaGa on eco tayar. If u do not know, Shawie not only had similar chassis layout like GaGa, instrument panel also look alike. Other than physical appearance & engine output, basically they're the same species.
Here's the thing, I've been driving Shawie as my daily ride. I'm so attached to the road holding feelings of Shawie, most of the corners I can sliced through without worrying the "tail" will skid. Whilst I was driving my GaGa yesterday night, I have totally forgotten I'm in a SEDAN The 360'+270' spun to the right, roughly 1.75round brought my GaGa to almost back on track, but engine stalled Lesson learnt. Not the car, not the tayar, its the driver who put themself into danger situation. I will try to remind myself more often that I'm in a sedan with eco tayar the next time I drive my GaGa |

ABS, VSC, EBD all can help but end of the day the driver's control is most important. Here's the thing, I've been driving Shawie as my daily ride. QUOTE(Jusb @ Nov 6 2014, 10:56 AM) totally agree with you. ABS, VSC, EBD all can help but end of the day the driver's control is most important. That bend can be easily conquer under certain criteria.glad you are fine. that bend to the right is quite sharp. usually not alot cars so will go fast 1) Do not brake during the bend 2) On GaGa stock suspension, I've tried 120kph passing without even hearing tyre screech, given that if I choose a proper pattern 3) I'm using 165/55R15 tyres The standard practice to speed at that bend is always stick to the left lane while entering, may gradually bring the car to the right lane like hitting apex on race track(when traffic condition allowed), so you'll have bunch of understeer limit to save you from flying off the bridge and exit on the right lane instead. Because immediately after getting off the flyover, sticking to the middle lane is the shortest route to get on to MRR2. |
