US brokers aren't expensive. IB starts at just $1 per trade smile.gif

Yes but if I had $100k to spare, it would be in other investments smile.gif

Icahn already owns 53 mln shares of AAPL and he wants AAPL to go 230 instead of staying here at 130.
Not sure if I care but I just hold the commons for longer term and sell cover calls and short puts to continue to make money every week. Interestingly, $5 move per week can make up quite a lot of juicy premium.  biggrin.gif

Which broker do you use, and what is your commission structure like?

I'm using MB Trading for options now. Cheap.. $1 or $2 only per contract plus some SEC fees (somewhere between 0.10 to 0.50 depending on size) for selling.
*
So you spend like $4 to $8 a week? how much do you make a week on average?

from how you wrote in past weeks, i can see you totally have no idea what is options. These traders here are playing options. Do you know warrants? Something like that, although not that. Google and learn a bit before making ridiculous noise (past few weeks) around.  yawn.gif

How is an honest question "noise" ? I'm just asking you how much you make a week on average.

actually, rm is only a bit weaker now. as evidenced by sgd1=rm2.70. aud1=rm2.82 is worse.

1mdb is one of reasons and will continue to haunt everything.

i will be looking out for next qtr data - gdp growth, trade/current acc balance and inflation.
*
Rm2.82 is still quite cheap, the AUD/MYR 10-year range is small compared to many other currencies. Highest maybe 3.23, that's Rm0.41 above this.Apart from 2008, it's always been around 2.70-3.20 (about 0.50 range.)

Compared to other majors the AUD is fairly stable smile.gif

Anyway, ^DXY (Dollar Index) back above 96...now at 97.
Yup, 1 USD = RM 3.70 coming again.  I'm ready to make buy more Ringgit if this happens.  laugh.gif

Lol if you are in the US now, the channel would be so profitable with the low commissions over there smile.gif
