QUOTE(danmooncake @ Jun 27 2015, 03:51 AM) Yeah man. China stocks movement is like almost 3x leverage ETF. SP500/Dow even KLSE/HKSE/SGX merely move in 1%-2%, China's Shanghai Composite can move 5%-10% in one day. Clearly, it overshot to the upside within this 12 months. I think it should settle down once it gets back down to 3000 level. Good bargain price should be between 2500-3000 ( More blood... ). i love blood.

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jun 27 2015, 02:04 AM) long term... i doubt it'll even get close to $100 for years - there is plenty of shale oil! hmm...long term, i mean above 5 years etc. One big thing, increasing world population, especially middle class. Look China, that kind of population, that kind of GDP growth (where 7% is consider....low?!). Consider India and Indonesia too, huge population, huge middle class increment potential. Well, i am seeing huge energy consumption increment in the next 10 years.

QUOTE(Brother J @ Jun 30 2015, 04:24 AM) Greeks are lazy, and never pay back their debt. Perhaps AAPL can buy the whole country as a retreat camp for its employees. well lazy people are lazy because someone is looking after them. If they have no one to depends on, they have no choice but to make a change, or die. Well, Apple can always invite high educated profession immigrants into the country, just like how Singapore and US does/did. When competition comes, what can they do other then making a change?

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jul 1 2015, 06:49 PM) here's how it might just end... tonite. U.S. stock index futures pointed to a sharply higher open on Wednesday, after a deal between Greece and its international creditors looked possible.
Dow Jones futures shot around 170 points higher after a letter written by the Greek prime minister, first published by the Financial Times newspaper, suggested that Greece would finally accept all the demands that were put forward by its creditors over the weekend.
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras accepted lenders' conditions in a two-page letter originally sent to the heads of the European Commission, requesting only minor tweaks to their suggestions on pensions and tax reforms. This came after months of wrangling that culminated on Monday with Greece defaulting on a 1.5 billion-euro repayment to the International Monetary Fund.weak bear once again.

if stocks dropped more than 10%, i don't care much on the currency anymore. The swing on HK stocks has been increased tremendously after the HK-China linked thing. Now small caps can easily performed a 20% swing in one day where blue chips can swing 5%. This post has been edited by yok70: Jul 6 2015, 05:06 PM
