QUOTE(mikehwy @ Apr 7 2015, 10:41 PM) I guess oils r inching up abit after the talk of iran deal to free oil export restrictions + saudi increasing its oil price for shipment to asia. Nymex safely above 50. But still US oil well count is dropping and shale producers r in some form of financial.problems.... i not sure of the potential impacts...+ or - ??? shale producers in financial problems? that's bullish news for oil. |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 7 2015, 10:36 PM) i was hoping to top up xlv today since it softened from all time high since a month ago. xlv got companies having businesses in China or not? those should be bullish. best performer on my watchlist now, haizzz... oil counters r interesting, looks like a good comeback! |

agree. oil is not good for long term play, it's only good for speculative play. This is why when many people questioned WB of his selling of various oil stocks, I fully agree with his decision, simply this: not a long term play for now and he only likes long term play.
however, can't wait for stabilize only buy since that would be too late, stocks usually move 6 months or more ahead of time. IBs' words are all part of the speculative words, so, not too important for the industry I think. Industry has their own perspective and research, usually not "listen to" bankers or economic experts.....I believe. |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Apr 10 2015, 10:29 PM) Anyone here still eyeing AAPL for trade (or investment)? It's been some time since I last touch this fruit company. i didn't sell a single share of my fruit, just trade part of it occasionally to increase the power of compound growth (sold at higher price, later buy back at lower price with more shares because it gets cheaper). so far paper gain around 100%. Added a bit more shares recently at 123 since lazy to wait for my target of 113-116. The support around $120 is quite good here. Still got some commons left from 6 months ago but going to hang to those since they were around $100 a piece at that time. |

the beauty of apple is that when a product comes to their hand, it "suddenly" becomes popular. It's like other manufacturers all just helping Apple to introduce a product, to get people familiar with it, but not until Apple's version out that the product comes to live. Very WB style company actually, wondering why WB doesn't have the gut to buy it but buying IBM instead.

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Apr 11 2015, 01:40 AM) had enough of cheap "alternatives", won't buy any. maybe i-burger. haha! i m actually quite curious, must go check out an apple watch when available. that's what makes it a great co. notebooks, tablets, smartphones, now, watches. they promise the electric car is guaranteed to thrill. what will they thrill us next? i like i-vision, i-pottie, i-protection, i-balls...! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/08/20/a...s_n_685412.html? me too, i think the i-car will be a huge success. |
