Performance looks better as in expectation was none so whatever when you see the starting lineup. It was still the same clueless on attacking and defensively well Mignolet were one of the player who kept the game alive for us.

BR did well there for naming mostly fringe player. He might say it was a decent performance but it was absolutely gobsmacked by him. The way I saw it is that there is no winning mentality at all. It was just basically if you are lucky you get a point if not well is ok since I m not expecting a win anyway.

I m not expecting a win over there but when I see the startling lineup, I just dont see any chance of him trying to get a win. It was like BR just admitted we are going to lose at there.

If not for Mignolet, we could have conceded more than 3 goals. He made the scoreline looked good, our back 4 still left a lot to be desired when you see more than 26 shot attempted by RM.

Not expecting a win doesnt mean that we cant try to win right? Would you see your team trying to get a win or would you prefer to see your team play just to lose? The team they put out was not giving of any hope of trying at all for me

Trying - is at least you put your best player in the team you still have a certain percentage of getting a win.

Not trying - you put a weaken team and the percentage of getting a win lowered.

No comment on the line up. When we lose, people will criticise team selection, but if u won people wil keep quiet and hail BR as genius. Atleast this time he got ball to drop SG. Sterling is just over rated at the moment and should be bench and we rely too much on SG on every match. From this game we can see how worthless new players are and BR should realize that they have waste 100m on transfer. End of december will decide BR fate i foresee.

I guess sometimes, playing for Southampton, Swansea, West Ham, Villa etc is not the same as playing for Liverpool. Look at the players in our team now who can be called 'successful'. Sturridge and Couts both came from Chelsea and Inter. Yes Balo came from Milan, but I honestly think he's got what it takes. Just need a different playing style. All the other flops have been from average clubs.

Marquee or not, the way Liverpool is buying players is worrying right? We're scraping the big players from smaller clubs, when maybe smaller/neglected players from big clubs would do a better job? Players like Isco, Khedira, Shaqiri who've been sidelined by bigger acquisitions at their own club for example. Sure, convincing them to  play for us is another thing and wages are important too...but don't tell me the 100M we spent on Lallana, Markovic, Lovren, Lambert etc wouldn't have been better spent on 3 30+ M players and retaining Agger?

no doubt Rafa far more experience and tactically most of the time made the right decision. Previous owners shorten his spell in liverpool but there is nothing to regret about honestly manager come and go. If now i wouldnt want him, i would prefer someone new like Klopp diff style and see where it take us.

Liverpool never had big transfer fund in the history, this is totally new for spending over 100mil a season. Its like scouts also sien, scout and scout but no action. All the good players taken, think this season's transfer cant just blame BR alone. Perhaps the whole transfer commitee + owners, they offered more money for Sanchez, Shaqiri, Kono, Willian (if rumours are true), Mkirtaryan, Sigursson, Salah, Costa etc etc

They need a little push in the transfer.
