If you hit the "Reply" button to reply to a post, and then hit Shift-Enter to highlight a section of the quoted post, pressing the "Delete" key doesn't delete the highlighted section. Why is that ?
Possible bug ?

QUOTE(wodenus @ Sep 12 2006, 09:48 PM) If you hit the "Reply" button to reply to a post, and then hit Shift-Enter to highlight a section of the quoted post, pressing the "Delete" key doesn't delete the highlighted section. Why is that ? It's not just "Reply". "Add Reply" also has the same problem. As long as you select text and press <delete> while you're typing/editing post text, it doesn't work. <backspace> seem to work though. I think I just notice this a few days back. |

I can't seem to replicate that problem. Tried and tested with IE6, IE7 RC1, Firefox 1.5.0.6, 2.0b2 and Opera 9.0 with no such issue.

Hhmm.. I think I have this problem too. First I thought it was my keyboard's fault.
Btw, I'm using IE6 |

I access LYN via 2 PCs so far. Both IE6. Still happening but on and off. Weird problem.
Sometimes don't even need to select text. Pressing <delete> doesn't work the way it's supposed to. Actually, no big deal. But just feeling curious. |
