QUOTE(slickz @ Nov 2 2014, 09:55 PM) Instead of going with spigen, after much research and checking I finally settled on my actual case, the Thule Atmos X3. Manufacturer rated to withstand drops up to 2 meters, tough yet slim polycarbonate casing and most importantly FITS bigger 3.5mm jacks which my temporary casing failed to do so. Stealthy design, no narcissistic opening to show off the world it is an iphone. good protection case but i don't like the fact that it doesn't have any logo cut out (at least) or clear back. but again everyone has their different tastes and likes Even taking it out of the demo unit was already nerve wrecking since I had to really put pressure on the phone. The sales assistant didn't dare to even help me pry it out of the casing because the casing is THAT hard! Yeah I'm probably not gonna take my phone out of this casing for some time after installing it again. You can't even flex the casing to pry out the phone. At least, not without putting a lot of dangerous pressure. I really think it's made out of the same polycarbonate material that is used to make part of the frame to hang mountainbikes outside your car. The casing is sick. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The way the casing is cut reveals a thin, precise outline of aluminum on the phone. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 3 2014, 01:02 AM) For your info, there would be people queing up overnight meaning the night before launch to buy the phone. yes agree bro. i have a friend in aus (60+ aunty) we used to camp together for the 5s launch last year, this year for the 6 she told me she went there 48 hours before. she's 1st in line and there are people starting to queue up about midday after she arrive. |

QUOTE(Prometric @ Nov 3 2014, 10:00 AM) Why is everyone willing to queue up over the night just to buy their phones? Isn't it better to just order online and wait for the phone to come to your door step? try order online and when you get your unit is a lemon unit or cosmetic damages out of the box. do you think they will let you exchange 1 to 1? unless you bought from apple store online i doubt those telcos will let you do exchange 1 to 1 if you bought online. |

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Nov 7 2014, 09:26 AM) Market is slow nowadays. Those die hard fans like us already bought long before launch here. Ap companies like 1Gadget were having lot of stocks before my launch and ultimately a possible reduction in market share for iphonesin Malaysia. During previous launches, people were queuing up practically everyday and grabbingevery stock available. not to mention with a lot of selfie fanatics in malaysia 16gb is the least popular ones |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Nov 11 2014, 06:35 PM) What is this guy trying to prove ? His stupidity ?? Who will ever subject one iphone or any other phones to such disastrous acts I agree. It's just like buying a brand new Mercedes Benz and driving 120km/h and bang in into a concrete wall. He is just trying to score hits on his youtube channel only But he does has a point . Knowing that the iphone is bendable, one just need to take extra care of it |
