oh i assumed he put it in both his back and front pocket. for me it will always be in the front pocket. if the service center is as responsive and helpful as theirs, then it should be okay. but then again, the hassle of going there as well as re-inserting your data and setting your phone back is a troublesome process.
if it is a hit or miss for minor defects (button, screen), it is still acceptable. this on the other hand is bending man, with a case on (and it's their own case)! that is a red flag already. and yeah the other issue is the service center's willingness to accept the fact that we did not bend it on purpose. if they can easily acknowledge it, then there's no problem. but if they don't.. we have to get ready to face a major headache. i don't mind using a case to avoid the phone from bending but if the majority of the cases can't do that, then we will be constricted to a very limited amount of cases that can actually help avoid it from bending (and that would be those tough/rugged cases only) which is quite worrisome.
I totally agree with you. I'm just sharing my opinion, whether it's a major or minor issue... It does happen to electronic goods. Apple iPhone is more apparent I guess the amount shipped.
Take my Sharp tv. Got the exact same model and same shop. Mine got replaced 4th time while my friend still using the first set.
I'm highlighting the point iphone is still okay, good option to get. Came across few iphones used by friends, pretty solid and no bending issue.
Main point, Just seriously doubtful with our local service center when we have problem. That's the only part to worry. Apple also don't publicly admit there's such bending issue.
That's the message I want to convey.
