The "iPhone Buying Experience" is highly recommended for at least once in your lifetime if you're an apple user/fan, and by this I don't mean the kind of "sell off my kidneys to buy an iPhone" type of fan but even a more reasonable one. The crowd, the queue, the drama, the arguments, and finally the joy of finally obtaining the device. It's quite an experience.

done that for iphone4 launch.. and also camped infront Maxis reseller during 3gs first day launch. now not interested to camp or line up edi.

Now prefer send to home or direct collect at maxis without any queue.

Ya. I thought iPhone users always said they didn't need a big screen.  tongue.gif So I stocked iPhone 6 4.7" tempered glasses. Mana tau most of my customers want 5.5"! doh.gif  sweat.gif

Was fiddling with the iPhone 6/6plus at maxis/digi centre ytdy and noticed stuttering interface on the 6plus when scrolling up/down in Spotlight search. also home interface rotation from portrait to landscape was not smooth.

i dunno if its just my eyes but screen quality/color looked better on the iphone6 compared to the plus model. in terms of weight and comfort to hold the phone, iphone6 is miles ahead comparing with the 6plus.

Yes. Sad to say but I hav to agree to that. But its a bit better now with 8.1. It was worse when the 6+ rolled out earlier.
*
its just weird coz previous iphones from 3g to 5S was all buttery smooth when first time playing it in shops. but this iphone6plus feels abit unresponsive..not something u you normally see on an iphone. Also having a big size screen means we auto-presume will be good on productivity but so far it looks kinda empty with lotsa unused space in the interface. well, the only plus point for the 6plus is the battery capacity. iphone6 so far no complains. just battery could have been better. so for me i'm still undecided which model to get.

perfect size and weight vs battery capacity.. so tough :/

Further notes after more usage...

1) Agree with others about the "smoothness" on the 6+... It's smooth most of the time, but once in awhile it has short periods where it feels like the phone is mining bitcoins in the background or folding proteins.
2) 802.11ac interestingly drops from time to time, not completely drop, but drops to 802.11n. It's annoying to be transferring something at 30MB/s and then suddenly... 6MB/s... WTF sleep.gif

Maybe because 6+ have to do a downscaling process to 1080 thereby lag a bit?
*
if thats the case, it looks like ip6plus wont be future-proof like previous iphones due to the hardware limitations.

Hallo.....how to make more money from you if they make your Ip6+ so future proof? laugh.gif
*
what happened to the Apple vision of producing perfect devices for excellent user experience? Is apple all bout money now without the perfection in their device? Well, the Apple i know from the 3G and iphone4 days is different from the apple today. I don't mind apple charging high for their products, but it should come with the perfect user experience to back up that high cost. before this, although their hardware was lacking at times, u can be sure that what they sold was premium compared to their competitors. now its tough to back up apple with the ever improving Samsung/HTC.

Hopefully apple fixes the lag and stuff on their ip6+ model fast, looking at the RRP which is the price of a Macbook..

On the contrary, when Apple get the 1242x2208 display screen in the future, they won't need to down sample anymore
*
then it would render this 6plus model totally obsolete in one year.

Last year iPad Air has no biometric
This year it has but does that makes last year's iPad Air obsolete?
*
biometric doesnt really hinder the overall experience of the touch mechanism. while a laggy interface really can hinder your experience using iOS.

For me, I could live without Siri, TouchID etc but i don't think i can live with a stuttering scroll mechanism coz thats the basic function of a touch screen phone.
