One thing for sure, a lot of merchants dont accept it. laugh.gif

Maybe the AMEX Black Card ...

This is interesting. Probably for 16 and 128gb models only. I've been monitoring their reservation page for the 4 apple stores closest to me here in cardiff and not once have I seen the 64gb space grey in stock. Silver was available on only one night and it was gone in 20 mins, gold was available up till 2 days ago.

Edit : right now the Apple Store closest to me is showing only 16GB spacegrey in stock for the 6 and 6+. 128GB available for both gold and silver 6
*
I'm currently working on a project and an article I read stated that the production output was 70:30 (iPhone 6:iPhone 6+). I believe this can be Googled.

Possibly APPLE themselves underestimated the demand for the Plus, hence perceived shortage of stock.

According to the article, they're planning or already scaled down production to 55:45 ratio.

Bro..let me reply your pm here on how the queue would work like so that everyone could read.

Mac City 1u is a corner/ end lot shop with a walkway at the side of the shop. The staff will arrange a queue area lined up with chairs. So they allow queuing after they close for the day at 10pm. Dont worry about the security guards as they did allow people to queue for the 5s last year.
I would suggest you guys go queue by bringing along your food/drinks so that you need not leave the queue unneccessarily. You should also try to bring along a friend to queue along so that you could take turns going to the toilet etc. Dont have a friend crazy enough to queue with you? No problem, try to be friends with the person queuing behind/infront of you. You help me, I help you. tongue.gif
Bring a pillow or blanket to help make yoursef as comfy as possible but dont expect it to be really comfortable. Bring an ipad to keep yourself entertained and to check on LYNd forums, fb etc. Make sure its fully charged though. Bring along your phone just in case and most importantly take pictures of yourself and the queue and post it at this thread where people will appreciate reading/viewing it.
Mac city staff will start arriving at 9am++ and that is the time people will start coming in droves. Watch out for queue jumpers and tell them off if you need too. Last year Mac city staff gave out refreshments to all who were queuing. thumbup.gif This is the important part, Mac City staff will start distributing small slips on what iphones and accesories you wish to purchase and you will have to fill it up and return to the staff. Guys and gurls, this will determine your destiny as the staff will give you a 'ticket' stating your preferred model and colour. With this ticket only would your purchase be guarenteed as you continue to queue to get into the store. Once you get into the store, you can present your ticket and they would bring out the phone of your choice. For your info, they will open on the spot for you to check after you had made your payment via cash or credit card (visa or mastercard only). There is no charge for using credit cards. You can also opt to buy or not to buy the sp and backcovers in the shop.
All in all, go queue in a positive attitude. Good luck to those going and remember to post pictures here. You are on your way to your 'Iphone Buying Experience' which I think all Apple Iphone fans should try at least once. thumbup.gif

Crap bro. You contacted them yet?

I had this issue with my Note 2 previously! Half of the screen was yellow and had "arrow" marks too. Like the old case of LCD burn in.

Worst case was I didn't even know until I changed my screen protector. Had 1 installed when I got the phone but didn't realize until it was too late.

On the 2nd thoughts, wondering if I will regret getting my iPhone 6 Plus 16GB sad.gif

16Gb Iphone kinda not worth it. The iOS itself already almost 5Gb in size leaving 11Gb of space only

I was queuing up since 10pm last night and camp overnight. This morning found out there's no Space Grey 64gb. I wasn't keen on other colors and didn't want to leave empty handed!

Impulse buy!

Maybe use and see how. Sell off for 64gb or wait for 6S tongue.gif

Briefly met 2 of the forummers here.

Not entirely true. For some people like me, 16gb more than enough as I only use for watsapp, and call only. My previous 5s 16GB still got 9GB available free space.
*
That's what I'm hoping for. Going lean on the apps and games and not install stuff I won't use.

Used to have about 400+ songs, some pics, and lots of games I don't play on my old iPhone, and 4 (both 16 gb) and never exceeded my storage.

I wouldn't mind to top up for 128gb too if they had it. Unfortunately not and like I said, didn't want to go back empty handed

It's an impulse buy - it's like a feeling that when I started something, I need to finish it tongue.gif

Liking the big keyboard. Was a note 2 user that went back to iPhone 4's cramped keyboard.

Everything is peachy for now. But I keep looking at the usage screen now to see my available storage. It's like an OCD thing now!

This stock imbalance could have been avoided if Apple started their base unit at 32GB.. I'll happily take one of those..
*
As mentioned few pages back, I read an article stating that production ratio for iPhone 6 to iPhone 6 plus is 70:30.

It would seem Apple may have underestimated the demand for the 6 Plus and that could be the reason for the shortage.

I don't know how quickly the production output can be adjusted but I read the ratio will be adjusted to 55:45.

*
Slow when browsing or detecting wifi signals?

I had issues with the 2nd point. It took some time for it to detect my home wifi network. I turned wifi on/off a couple of times only managed to detect.

Strange thing is at the store, it detected the shop wifi almost instantaneously!

Using a 6 Plus as well.

QUOTE(Lynixx @ Nov 7 2014, 08:00 AM)
guys,i wanna ask a serious question(serious mode on)

will you mind if you notice you phone has yellowtint? aka yellow screen.

its not obvious but you will notice if you see the screen about 5 seconds.

FYI, i've been queued for this phone for about 10 hours...and i hope i could get a

perfect phone with zero defect.

how guys? what would you do if you were me?

advise needed. thanks.
*
Sorry to hear that bro. I know your pain. I suppose your other phone you were using has no issue right?

Is it only certain parts of the screen or the whole screen? Better check mine too. How did you notice it? When looking at screens with white background?

Maybe wait for stock to stabilise and maybe can claim warranty?

Like I said about my Note 2, I didn't realise because there was matte screen protector.

I'm not sure if the burn in was already there when I bought the phone or not. But it wasn't visible when I have the sp applied.

I think my iPhone 4 also had this issue. Didn't realise until I saw it side by side with someone else's iPhone 4. Decided to live with it.

Mine only have issues connecting to my home wifi. Downloading apps no problem after that.

Still waiting for my Maxis line to be activated. My phone is just for show now. Think 8% drain since 7am unplug from full charge. Haven't been able to do anything on it yet except take some pics, check settings here and there.

A colleague was impressed by it and says he might change his mind and considering the 6+ after holding and handling my 6+.

Texting n driving is worst practice
My friend nearly lost his life and ended up 3 months in hospital
Don't ever think such accidents will not happen to anyone of us
You just need to see the accident victim to fully realize is a bad practice to use phone while driving
*
Yeah. Recently seen a shared video on FB about a teenaged American girl. Interview started with the mum saying the daughter's phone was her life.

When she got her drivers license, her mum always nagged at her and asked her if she was using her phone while driving and she always said no.

One day, it so happened she was checking a text and got into an accident. She lost her hearing in one ear, I believe vision in one eye and both tear ducts destroyed so she can't cry any more (body can't produce tears anymore).

She was also very pretty before the accident and and is now scarred for life. Lost a lot of her friends after the accident.

The irony of it all, it was her mum's sms she was reading when she got into the crash.

Speaking about phone being one's life, I slipped and fell down the stairs once. Thankfully no major injuries except some bruises.

The thing was when I was falling down the stairs, my iPhone 4 was gripped like it was the most precious thing in the world.

It was probably instinct, but I never even let go of it!

Stock Update Midvalley

Was at Celcom Blue Cube and Machines Mid Valley this morning.
Was told only 16gb models left for iPhone 6 & 6 Plus.

Other capacities all sold out.

Here's a "fun" question:
How do you guys "wake" your iPhone now? Via the On/Off or Home Button?
