Dun forget to include aftermarket heatsinks and fans for cooling! Especially for cpu and northbridge.

QUOTE(Canopies @ Oct 11 2006, 05:17 PM) what is aftermarket heatsinks ...how much does it cost for OC...and the price of fans...plus what is northbridge???..T_T Aftermarket heatsink is 3rd party heatsink u can buy at most computer shops. Normally u get one when u buy a cpu provided by manufacturer ie. intel/amd. Unfortunately those are not adequate for o/c purposes. Recomend u get Thermaltake Big Typhoon VX as it wont interfere with ds3 backplating. cost about RM 190 from Compuzone or RM 178 from Modernopc.com Northbridge = Wiki Northbridge The higher the fsb=the hotter it gets. Recomend u get Thermaltake Extreme Spirit II. RM 89 @ Compuzone. Also mebbe u shud wait 1 month b4 u get Gigabyte DS3 cuz manufacturer releasing Revision 2 adding C2Q support. |
