currently got an interview invitation for Juruteknik komputer gred FT17

i'm confusing either to go or not

im degree holder in communication eng, got diploma in electronics eng and also got sijil kemahiran malaysia tahap 2


i'm currently working with telco company,

if i go to the interview, will they offer me the position or not?

gred 17 is for SPM qualification..
not sure if it suitable for u with a degree..
for diploma, it usually start with gred 29..
and gred 41 for degree..
the difference of all those gred is salary and increase every year..

its your choice..

i need to make a quick decision either to go for interview or not.

well, living condition and cost at kl and selangor area are quite though for me
with basic salary just rm 2500

so i am thinking to try go for this interview, so still has a chances to live at my hometown at besut terengganu..
the main reason i want to go back there is i think i not up for live challenging in kl and selangor area

if the interviewer know i got higher qualification , they will reject me ?

they will not reject u easily since u got working experience..
but even u want to work at ur hometown, the starting salary for gred 17 is RM1.2k per month..
compare for wat u have now that is RM2.5k
i think it not worth it..

for a newly posting guy on the field..
u cant choose where u gonna work..
its bergantung pada kekosongan jawatan..
u might end up in sabah or sarawak..

they already stated earlier in emel that the position will be at semenanjung

for first posting, u cant choose where u want to work..
its depends on vacancy..

ok so if they offer me the job but at k.l area or selangor area , so should i accept and wait to apply for transfer or just rejected it?

i'm worried if too long to wait for transfer, mati laa iiiii

about the procedure for transfer, u should consult with jabatan..
u should gv them a call..
every government jabatan have different procedure..
some need to apply online and some u can transfer easily if there got kekosongan..
some need u to stay at one place at minimum time like 5 years..
just gv them a call for more info..

I also received the interview invitation but I didn't go to the interview. The basic salary is too low since it's for SPM qualification.

Personally, I don't recommend you to go since you're a degree holder. It's a waste.
